I find it funny that almost no-one cares for Kabal anymore. Hardly anyone liked him for his character, just for his OP-ness, ha.
they have 2 variations of each…Jaqui is Scorpion and Smoke…cassie is Sub Zero and Ermac , colors that is.
I love Kabal!!! He is my favorite… I wish his Revenant version made it into a playable character… too bad the entire revenant group from story mode didnt make it.
I wonder if that Jaqui skin means there will be an “Alien skin pack”…kinda like the “Predator/Prey skin pack?”

I miss Stryker. I thought it was BADASS that a normal cop was taking people like Scorpion & Sub-Zero head on! Lol But Ed Boon doesn’t like Stryker… 
Kabal and Stryker…Buddy Cops! I like that part of the MK9 story!
Have you noticed in story mode the non playable characters keep there asses kicked by 1-2 punches? lol… they dont fight very well …especially Eninra

Yeah, I like him too. I was looking forward to fighting a balanced version of him when MKX was in development. MK9 Kabal gave me nightmares. But it seems that hardly anyone misses him, even though there were so many Kabal mains.
He could have worked really well with the variations. Zoning Kabal, rushdown Kabal and grappler Kabal, for instance. I would have rather seen him make it in than the Alien tarkatan or Leatherface.

Kabal was by far and away my favorite character design in MK3. They didn’t do a whole lot with it in MK:D, other than adding that really strange looking, I don’t know… Force Hug? MK9 gave him some more to do, but I still feel like there’s more that could be done, especially with his hook swords.
I also wasn’t a huge fan of NRS making him a cop. It seems like they were just trying to stick him in the story somewhere and just thought “oh, well Stryker could use a buddy… cop…” He seemed like more of a loner type before, which I actually liked. He was part of the Black Dragon, then he wasn’t. I dunno, MK:D kinda soured me on him slightly.
Overall though, he’s still one of my favorite MK characters, regardless of how OP he’s been at times (and he has been, I’ll completely agree there), but for whatever reason, NRS doesn’t seem to know what to do with him. Black Dragon, loner fighting injustice (non-canon), Black Dragon again, retconned MKD story in to cop, then Black Dragon (I think? Can’t recall), then revenant B team with characters like Sindel, Smoke and Stryker.
I feel like there’s much more they could do with him to make him a more compelling character both in story and in gameplay and I think that potential still makes me like him a lot. I’d say he’s in my all time top 5 for MK, even if I acknowledge that NRS likely won’t get him where I think he could be.

Granted I didn’t like Kabal, but at the same time, I honestly would have been happy to see him back. There’s so much he could do with hookswords and speed, maybe his hooksword grab could have been similar to Kan Ra’s command grab where he could change where the opponent lands, maybe he could utilize some of stryker’s bombs and guns (sorry Erron), maybe he could have done some weird speed/teleporty stuff. There’s so much potential for there that maybe I would have picked him up.
I’d hope for a KP3 that has him in it, but they’re probably hitting the character limit where there’s really not much else you could do without it being repetitive (Armageddon pls).
I can already tell by the look on Liu Kang’s face, that that Fatality looks cool.
My guess is he f@rt into that burning match to a make flamethrower!

Pretty sure he’s doused Liu Kang in alcohol from his jug, and is lighting him on fire with the match. I could be wrong, though.
