Mortal Kombat 11

Why do people hate Hsu Hao again? I still haven’t played Deadly Alliance.

True. But then again, who doesn’t want to beat up Spawn as a monkey?

If they put a Primal Rage character in MK, who would it be? What about Kabuki Joe from War Gods?

He’s a pretty boring character with not much character or personality. Other than having a laser beam firing from his chest, he’s not particularly interesting.

A PR character in MK is unlikely, mainly because of the size difference (the creatures in PR are HUGE!). I mean, they’re about as big as Godzilla (or Kong back in the 30s). Not crazy about Kabuki Joe. Anubis would be an interesting character imo, as I found him the most interesting of the cast (though the others weren’t exactly, well, good). Still, I think some fun stuff could be done with Anubis. Now, Lord Deimos from “Mace: The Dark Age”, though, I think would be pretty cool in MK.

Two words: Shrink Ray. But regardless of the size difference. Who would it be? Who is the choice?

I could see any character from War Gods. I really would like to see more classic Midway characters in the game anyway.

I personally think she looks fantastic, and I’m very, very interested to see what she “feels” like to play.

By that, I mean much of her movement and what I’m seeing with kombos looks more like Mortal Kombat XL potential. She certainly looks less slow and stubby in terms of gameplay than Kitana does.

I think she looks boring. No ifs ands or buts about it. She’s just Mileena. She does Mileena things. Very much the E. Honda of MK11. Rambo is the Poison. And Rain is the Lucia.

You’re the first person I’ve seen say that. I’m even seeing non-Mileena fans say that she looks great, and that she looks like she’ll be really fun to play.

But hey, whatever floats your boat.

She just doesn’t do anything I wouldn’t expect, aside from that tongue thing. And she doesn’t have much personality in her movements. She doesn’t stand out compared to the rest of the characters. She just blends in. If she had been base game… then whatever. But as DLC she’s just… uninteresting. And I really wish it had been someone who stands out more like Havik or Stryker or Ashrah or Sektor.

It’s like if Street Fighter V announced Gouken and Sean would be added to the roster. They’re just… boring. No matter how you do the game-play, there are already plenty of Shotos. MK11 has plenty of Ninjas already. We didn’t need Rain or Mileena.

 :worried: :astonished: :astonished: :astonished:

You’re perception of things is… unique. Definitely, definitely unique.

I re watched the trailer on a bigger screen. And I did notice a few more little flourished then I did when I watched it the first time. But she’s still just Mileena. She’s still just another ninja. This one in pink. All the sai stuff was already given to Kitana anyway. And Kano already has ball rolling. She’s just… boring. I can’t put it in any other way. She doesn’t look particularly fun to play as. She’s not a fun crossover character. She’s not some underutilized gem in the lineup that barley gets used. Heck, she’s only missed one game since her debut. Why couldn’t she have sat this one out? And if they had to put her in, then couldn’t they have made her more interesting. Really emphasize how unhinged and crazy and manic she is.

Not really, Godzilla is kaiju siz ein meters.

The god characters are around the size of a large theropod. Likley bigger but only to that extant. The characters have to be big enough to where they can consume humans according to their lore.

I think the most obvious one would be Talon since he’s a Deinonychus. Some cool stuff could be done with him.

Then let’s hope. I do think a NRS Primal Rage reboot would be a smart move. So let’s hope.

I really want them to communicate that there will be more content after KP2. Even something as simple as putting black icons in all the empty spaces on the character select screen.

Figured I’d post about my further developed ideas for how to incorporate The Tekunin into MK11.

I took their special moves and divided them into categories. The Bomb. The Chest Attack. The Hand Attack. The Teleport. And the Arial Move. Each move belonging to each category conflicts with each other, but not the other moves of the other categories. Sektor is the main fighter, but equipping one of the three other skins turns them into Cyrax, Smoke, or Sub-Zero. This means you can give Sektor the Ice Ball and Cyrax’s Net if you like, just as an example. The specials are as follows.

Summary

Bomb

  • Straight Missile
  • Bomb and Hover Bomb
  • Smoke Cloud
  • Ice Bomb and Drone

Chest

  • Lock-On Missile
  • Chest Saw
  • Dissipate
  • Saw

Hand

  • Flame Burner
  • Net
  • Trident
  • Ice Ball

Teleport

  • Teleport Uppercut
  • Scatter-Port
  • Fade-Port and Smoke Away
  • Ice Perry

Air

  • Air Cyber Charge
  • Power Grab
  • Air Smoke Screen
  • Air Divekick

There are also human skins for them like in MK9. So you can play as human Cyrax, Sektor, and Smoke. Not Sub-Zero though. There would be no need for that.

The Fatal Blow is divided into three actions and an into animation. Each action changes depending on if you have the appropriate ability equipped.

Summary

Intro

  • Sektor fires a large missile from his chest, stunning the opponant
  • Cyrax fires a net from his chest, restraining the opponant
  • Smoke Teleports and punches the opponant from both sides, stunning them
  • Sub-Zero Freezes his body and then lunges forward with an ice mace, stunning the opponant. Can be held to form a perry

Action 1

  • Sektor burns the opponant with the flamethrower
  • Cyrax slams his spinning buzzsaw into the oponants chest
  • Smoke jams his hand into the opponant face, unloading smoke into their body
  • Sub-Zero fires a fer shurikens into the opponent’s chest which begin spinning and cutting

Action 2

  • Sektor performs a teleport uppercut to the oponants head
  • Cyrax performs a teleport Suplex
  • Smoke throws a Smoke Ball, which performs its normal function, and then kicks the falling opponent in the chest
  • Sub-Zero teleports behind the opponent and slashed with his sword

Action 3

  • Sektor punches the oponant in the head while firing a missile directly into it
  • Cyrax holds a bomb against the oponants head which then explodes
  • Smoke stays far away and launches his trident into the oponants head
  • Sub-Zero slides towards the opponant and stabs his sword directly into their head.

Each of the two fatalities also changes depending on which specific moves have been equipped.

Summary
  • Compactor: Sektor fires two missiles, blowing off the oponants arms before squishing them in his compactor. (Comes with straight missile)
  • Flamethrower: Sektor fires two laser pulses that break the oponants legs before pulling out his flamethrower. After burning them for a second, a straight missile blows them up. (Comes with Flamethrower)
  • Self-Destruct: Cyrax slices the oponants legs off with his buzzsaw and then presses a few buttons on his arm. He laughs before exploding. (Comes with Buzzsaw)
  • Net Squeeze: Cyrax stuns them with a bomb before firing his net. Still attached to his chest, he reals the net in, squeezing them tight before extruding their corpse like a play-dough toy. (Comes with Net)
  • Lost in Smoke: Smoke pulls off the arms with his trident before flooding the arena with smoke. The oponant panics and then their head is smashed in by Smoke. (Comes with Trident)
  • Smoke Death: Smoke dissipates into a whisp, past the opponant, blowing off their legs in the process. He repeats the motion in another direction, blowing off their arms, and then repeats for a third time with the head. (Comes with Smoke Cloud)
  • Snowball Grenade: Sub-Zero freezes the oponant from the waste down and launches a snowball grenade into their chest. They freeze completely solid before shattering like car window glass and then exploding violently. (Comes with Ice Ball)
  • Cold Hearted: Sub-Zero drops an ice bomb into the oponants mouth, then slices off their arms with two fires shurikens. They throw up blood while the spurting blood from their arms freezes solid into the ground, and then on the second heave the blood vomit freezes in the same way. Their torso then explodes thanks to the buildup of blood. (Comes with Ice Bomb)

Also, I just tweeted this at NRS. I hope I will effect something on some level.

Edit: Was playing some MK9 and it got me thinking. What do you think Kenshi would have looked like in the Klassic Trilogy? He’s basically an honorary Trilogy character anyway along with Quan Chi.

I’m sure they are now thanks to MK9.

Though I think he might look like most of his design now sense it was pretty simple and the motion and footage capturing tech could process with what he iswearing.

It never worked on things like a trenchcoat which is what Kabal was supposed to have but tech was limited

Apparently, in Japanese mythology, Raijin has a canine companion named Raiju. I now want to see Raiden’s dog.

Or it could be his animality. But I would rather see Raiden playing with his puppy.
