What if “The Tekunin” was Cyrax, Sektor, Smoke, Sun-Zero, and HYDRO. Be a cool nod to the comics and web series.

Would Xena Warrior Princess really be a fit for MK? We could always use a female guest character and I’ve seen her name come up a couple times on reddit.
Also, is the Switch port of the game any good?
Wait.. am I missing something… or is Sub-Zero’s past doppleganger just… not in this story? Like.. at all. That’s… kind of weird.
Every character should get a “Meat” skin where they just fight as their skinless form. Better then actually bringing Meat back that’s for sure.
I saw this video my brother and I just burst out laughing by the end of it.
But if you really think about it in context, it is true.

Does Sareena count as one of the ninjas? I mean… Tanya apparently does if you go by Armageddon and Khameleon… but then Frost apparently doesn’t by that same measure…
Could combine the concept with Asgaarth, my most requested MK character.
In terms of Sareena, not really tbh. I wouldn’t really say that Tanya is either. Khameleon and Frost are different stories though (I would LOVE to see the Khameleon/Chameleon characters in a new game).
I think if Tanya was in the trilogy she would’ve been a yellow palate swap. Thats why Khameleon has one of her abilities. Frost can also count sense she’s apart of the same clan as Sub-Zero.
As for Sareena, no, certainly no.
Same, Anything to help expand abit more of the Saurian lore for sure.
Maybe we can see how they play out in the next game.

elevator pitch: MK Trilogy, but for MK 9-11. Every character from all three titles, every finisher type, every costume, hell, maybe even every story mode all nice and remade. Reused assets where applicable.
I’ve never seen anything in her story implying that she was a ninja. Tanya as I said would’ve been a palate swap of Kitana, Jade, and Mileena if she was in MK 3. thats th ebets way to explain Khameleon having her powers.
How do we know Sareena wouldn’t have also been a pallet swap in MK3?
Because she had adesign in MK Mythologies
and she has a sprite based ov it. They clearly didn’t make anything with her as a ninja in mind.

I will point out that Scorpion and Sub-Zero had different designs in that game from any game in the trilogy, and we’re closest to MK1 more than any other design. And since Kitana and co weren’t in MK1, we don’t actually know what they would have looked like.
Technology was limited back then. Its entirely possible that if MK1 first came out in the 2000’s or so, they wouldn’t of looked like palate swaps. So for all we know they were thinking "heck why not have fun with the technicolor warriors of death.*
I really hope that, if The Tekunin really get into this game, we get some uncyberized skins for them like in MK9.
