Welp I got my rewards from the notifications. As soon as I did, I went right away to the krypt. And like a guy who went to vegas, I blue 90% of it there and now I learned a couple things.
Saurians/Zatteran’s have venom sacks. Go figure, the acid we knew about is actually venom with corrosive protperties. Not sure how but some venom’s like the tiger rattlesnake’s has been known to destroy muscle tissue. My guess is Reptile’s venom is a hemotoxin.
Also when I was in the pit bottom I discovered ninja that looked familiar. Rain.
For those who don’t want to watch video, use kenshi’s mask and wear it for a bit then remove.

So, my favorite #1 Reptile is not playable and is in the krypt hiding somewhere, my #3 favorite character is hidden an dead, and the my second favorite is in the game.
Not gonna like though, the Krypt ha some cool easter eggs like with the films. Though Ed Boon did say they enjoyed the first film.

I dunno about you, but I started the final Tower in one of them the other day with 10 minutes left and completed the 8 or 9 fights in it without getting kicked out of the event. Each fight took about 2 minutes and by the time I hit the last two the timer was at 0.
What was the free gift they gave you with the free update? Also can you still get the gift if you didn’t purchase the game at launch or pre order?

So I found a neat exploit on the Krypt involving the severed heads.
Major Spoiler warning for if you don’t want to know:
So apparently there’s a glitch (though to be honest knowing MK’s history it might be on purpose) if you go over to the severed head area, if you exit to the main menu and then enter the krypt again while holding A (or whatever your “confirm” button is) and walk back over in front of an empty spike, it’ll just go ahead and give you the head for that character and open the associated chest.
While I haven’t tried doing anything else on this I have heard that you don’t want to walk up to a chest while doing this, It’ll just unlock it if you have the gold/souls/hearts, and you’ll have to exit to the menu again to hold A again for the next head.
Takes about half an hour to do. Got all of the heads, but hurry if you want to do it yourself. Reportedly works on both Xbox One and PS4.
I had the biggest evil smile on my face when doing it. ■■■■■ the grind.

I tested it out on Steam and Switch, so I suppose it works for all versions right now.
i think were also cheat codes post online somewhere to just skip all the BS as well, but that was probably patched out with the “fix” they did. you know, when you have to get an A.I. to do the grind and play the game for you, thats messed up. my PC is gonna be hogged up farming currencies in a game, jacking up my electric bill for something im not even using hours at a time lol
I used a guide for the Krypt in MKX so the chests weren’t random there. There was a statue you could gamble koins on that featured some smaller exclusive items, but that’s it. NRS probably did it in MK11 so people wouldn’t be able to just beeline toward the stuff they wanted and barely ever touch the Krypt again, which I also did in MKX.
Not too worried about the Krypt at this point, though. I’ve already opened over 200 of the chests and getting gold isn’t much of a hassle anymore. Souls and hearts are still kind of a pain, but I don’t mind a long-term chase or two as long as there’s set rewards for them.

You know, the more I play Liu Kang, the more I think I should find another character. I just feel like I can’t really open people up the way I should be. A good majority of my landed hits are from my opponent’s mistakes rather than my own offense, and I don’t think I like that. I’d honestly be playing Scorpion if Rank would let me use Misery Blade.

Has anyone been able to get any Defending matches fro AI battle? Mine never fights or gets selected. Ive read tips do NOT use Noob on your team becasue pl willnot select you to fight their AI team if they see NOOB. Im goign to try that but just curious if anyone esle has had any luck? My team has never fought anyone and thats odd to me. As if I may have a privacy setting on or somehting to where my GT doesnt show in the list when peopel are “attacking”

Ok. I’m finally playing this game. Why do the menus look like IOS game menus
