Anybody want to give me a rundown of what you can get by linking the game to your mobile app? I am out of town but I downloaded the MK app to my phone. It’s not so great that I want to grind it if there’s no benefit to my MK11 profile…

To my understanding the tower of time on the far left, you choose your favorite character to level p/ gain skins for. It never expires, only if you choose to change it.
That’s how I’ve acquired 2 skins, and at least 3 new gear fir my Cetrion without need for krypt
I’m on level 2 tower of time right now- she looks BEYOND better than her default
On the flip side, my goal with skins is to at least get one or 2 of the skins with the human face of each character then let it randomly shell out in krypt ( I think I saw somewhere you can sell unwanted items)
In this, I’ve acquired the only palatable Jacqui skin, and the human Kabal/ Kotal/ bare chest Jax/ bald Kano/ bare chest bald Kollector! Lol
With Sindel, though, it’s going to be a greedfest

yeah I unlocked the skin I wanted for Sub-Zero, and the mask. Too bad you have to spend 50,000 coins for it. But it ain’t too bad. It ain’t microtransactions though.

I’m finding some fun in Jade, even though I stated that she probably wasn’t for me since she is more Zoner than probably Mid Range/ Rushdown that I’m more comfortable with. I like her space control, and in the corner, she has some nasty setups. I will continue to play her and see how it goes.

That’s kind of a shame. I was hoping I might accomplish something while I was away this week.
Thanks for this information. Again, I’m not going to suggest that the system doesn’t need adjustment but I think it’s clear that people are flying off the handle without fully understanding what’s actually in place.
You get a lot of unlocks on the mobile game though and Im sure going forward they will add skin unlocks like they did in X. Its funny you down loaded the game as I did too…I had deleted it last year as I never used it anymore. I had a ton of stuff and all the console unlocks on X too. BUt somehow I lost all my data…it did not resysnc this time around.
If you google MK11 mobile link unlocks you wll read all the stuff you get and what not.

OMG Frost is a straight up dam nuisance in the towers. She is really tough…and fast! Id hate to come across her online in the hand of a skilled player. UGH
Frost, Kabal, and Noob…feel like the favorites right now IMO as far as best offensive game plan.
Im trying to get my Kano going but man he is so different than MKX Im not sure if I like him as much.
Lui Kang looks amaizng… I might try him out tomrorow a but more.
I know the left tower gives you specific character gear. I was speaking for the right tower which are random. There sould be a way to summon any tower you want and not have to wait.
But isn’t there? Isn’t that why the left tower is for?
It gives different gear. So if you want to unlock the gear of a character you want you have to find it by luck. I wanted to unlock the gear character by character and not all together. The system is ruining the fun for me. So much random.
There is a way to summon a specific character tower for loot. It’s the second one from the left named “Character towers.” 
You have to pay 25,000 Koins, but it will automatically summon that character tower for you and give you a Skin, a Brutality, and a Taunt among other things.
The right tower is just gonna have to be random. If you don’t want to wait, spend the coins and get that tower you want.

I think they are different towers
Does anyone know if the Steam version has audio issues? It seems like everything is really quiet (yes I checked my settings). I went ahead and got the Switch version as well, and the first thing that jumped out at me was I could hear the menu audio well.
BTW, the Switch version is fine, mostly. The resolution downgrade makes text somewhat fuzzy, but not unreadable. The biggest graphical difference I’ve seen is when I did Baraka’s brain food fatality, some of the textures on the brain kept flickering and disappearing. It’s not game-breaking or anything, but definitely noticable.
Edit: nevermind about the audio, I got it fixed.
@BigBadAndy Hey everyone…running through teh character tutorials doesnt take long at all if you dont read the text…you get a cool skin for each character.
NOw the SHao Kahn voice announcer, that takes a while becasue the each tutorial for the game itself is pretty throurough and detailed. But I knocked it out in an hour or so.
Doing blocks of 4 for the character tutorials now.

Which skins do you get? Is it specific, or it it randomly selected from that character’s pool of skins?
That IM not sure…but I know for a fact I got the following from thier character tutorial:
Kano skin “Clear and Present Danger”
Scorpion -Night Crawler (WHich is really badass BTW)
Noob - Body Horror
Kabal - Unstoppable FOrce
Cetrion - Virtues Guardian
THose are the 5 Ive done so far and all 5 are pretty cool skins except fro the Kano one sicne I already had one of those in a different color so It didnt seem as cool when I got it.
Im gogin to do 4 more soon and then continue in 4s till I compelte the grid.
Currently playing the story…wow…its great! Its like watching Avengers End Game…like noway…OMG… WTF? lol

Kollector is the only character tutorial you cannot finish 100% because I believe the Day 1 Patch took away his Dash Cancel from one of his key moves. Not even the computer can do it. Why? Possibly because it was really strong, but just a heads up.
