Mick Gordon or Celldweller and Atlas Plug?

Mick Gordon for sure. I do like Kim’s and Tusks theme but when I visualize how Mick would have done the S3 soundtrack, I just see he would have done a better job than AP&C.

To be honest I like works of Mick and Celldweller&Atlas Plug equally.

At beginning I disliked Gargos theme but grew on me with time.

Mick as well as CD/AP had their weak points in this soundtrack.

Mick`s Riptor theme is whack, and Hisako Ultra Combo notes make your ears bleed.

My only gripe with CD/AP is Mira theme, just does not click for me. I think its because of that dubstep bass.

To have to have something ‘grow on you’ is a difference of having to settle and accept it rather than literally bursting from aural pleasure of instant gratification

i like both, favorite song of S3 for me is Kim Wu’s

Like both but if I could only choose one it’d be Mick.

AP&CD had way too many misses for me in this Season’s OST.
Only one I really liked was Kim’s and Eyedols even though Eye’s is just a bit of a rehash of his original theme.

Give Celldweller another season to compose and then I’d answer. I love Season 1-2 sounds tracks way more bt that’s because there were more songs that fit my style in those seasons. Season 3 had some good as songs but not enough for me to judge fairly. That’s not a knock against Celldweller but just lack of music to produce given the circumstance.

It took me a little bit for Gargos’ theme to grow on me and now it’s one of my favorite tracks in Season 3.

Atlas and Celldweller, imo got screwed by not having stages to attach their music to.

I like Atlas & Celldweller KI themes but here are the problems I have:

  1. Their musical ultra beats just don’t sound right.
  2. Mira’s theme would’ve been better without the synthetic instruments.
  3. The idle themes are way to short; Mind you Tusks, Kilgore, and Raams idles are A&Cs best idles.
  4. I’m kind of iffy about Kim Wu’s theme sometimes I love it, sometimes I hate it. I think it leaves alot to be desired imo.

From what I understand it would have fit the theme of her stage if she had actually had one. Adam Isgreen said at one point they had planned for it to be an underground vampire den with a combination of classical Russian deco mixed with modern touches to make it look like it had been lived in for centuries. Were they to have actually made her stage her music would have made sense, but without it I feel like most people just tack on nothing more than classic vampire scenarios (old musty run-down castles ala Sabrewulf’s stage or a Castlevania game) and then the dubsteb injection (or as I like to call it the electric horsefly) doesn’t make any sense.

Mira’s idle theme is great, too.

Personally I think all composers did a rather fantastic job with the music of the game my favorites being RAAMs and Maya’s respectively. They both had some rather terribles ones as well like Riptor’s and Mira’s but overall both were equal in performance for me.

I like Mira’s.

This just proves that they got screwed by not having each character have their own stages.

Indeed they did.

Dang form a concept standpoint that stage sounds amazing. Would’ve probably been the best season 3 stage if it existed.

A bit late, but Kilgore’s theme is bombastic!

I don’t think you really listened to Raam’s theme I think his was one of the best because it had they GOW sound with the KI mix which made it really dope to me especially his idle part with the guitar
