There ARE other weapons than swords. Hopefully IG will be more creative with the new characters than to make more swordsmen.

ARIA doesnāt really count, either. So thatās four clear-cut ones, where one is a shadow version of another.
So, like, three. Seems fine to me.
They are people holding a long blade that cuts. A sword has many shapes, but itās still a sword.
Mira hands down. Iād prefer if sheās not the vampire though. I imagine her as a crazier, darker version of Maya.
Yeah I hope they make mira a character. I love maya, itād be great seeing a troubled version of her.
I wouldnāt mind having some sort of medieval knight that fights with a mace or flail and a shield or an African Zulu warrior with a spear and shieldā¦

frankenstein electric monster - freak moves, contortionist something like Voldo from soul calibur, but a Frankenstein. Fast and eletric!
Vampire, male, femaleā¦ i dont care just give me a monster. Not a pretty face! (in instinct mode at least

a telekinesis girl, or guy. Something cool or a Wendigo
A possessed dude or girl, a usefull ghost behind her or him. or a Wendigo
A freak whater monster, something like Creature from the Black Lagoon!

I do have a sneaking suspicion that they might just mix Mira and Vampire together.
This is where a very gripping story could develop, as Maya is confronted with the choice of being a hunter and being a sister.
The werecat idea is good and the play style that deviates it from Sabrewulf is that it can wall jump and is aerial orientated, just like how most cats differ from dogs.

I really donāt care about guest characters. I want fully new characters from the imagination of IG. Iāve loved what they have made so far and thatās what I look forward to now.

all we need is a vampire and this game just solidified itself as the de facto Darkstalkers sequel people have been wanting lol. i mean why not? but other than a vampire..what other kind of trope can they go for? we have nearly everything covered. how about a lone vigilante, in the vein of paul kersey from death wish? charlie bronson was beast!
These have been my favorite ideas for a while now:
-Regal Vampire: A regal, dark lord, type ala Castlevania, but with less of a steampunk / pre-Victorian influence. Definitely needs to be able to change in to something for his instinct, charm opponents, drink opponentās blood to heal a small amount, etc.
-A Demon Hunter: Like a straight up gadget character. Maybe they use a chain whip, wrist mounted cross-bows and spinning daggers. Maybe more of rugged survivalist look, like if Van Helsing lived in our time, but lived off the land.
-A Witch: The crone type from Macbeth. Dark and sinister, with spindly fingers and stringy red hair that covers most of her face. Ability to change her appearance and raise her own strength and age opponents, cursing their strength, or mess with their button layout briefly, throw potions, etc.
-An MMA Grappler: Iād like to see a rugged, wrestler type in KI, but not WWE or Lucha style, as thatās been done in most fighters. Iād like a judo / shoot fighter that can use joint locks, take the opponent to the ground and combo from there, more locks / strikes, pull opponent back up, etc.
-An Old Sage: I really hope this type makes it in to KI. I know drunken kung fu guide/ sage is overused, but an old character thatās constantly in fluid motion, with catch counters and counter strike autos that can be linked to a throw ender, with more moves opening up the more he drinks.

They could make some kind of druid/priest/monk type of character out of the werecat. Itās not what youāve described, but the fluid motion part of your description could work with a cat like character.
I was thinking more along the lines of the floating monk guy from the KI Gold practice stage, but if they did something like what youāre describing, yeah, I could be down with that.

Ah, the infamous Sensei? Yeah, there been a lot of requests for him to make a comeback.
Iād love it if they brought him in and his taunt was him saying āfailā the way he did in the old training/practice mode.

a sensei who specializes in pressure point attacks? something like hokuto shin ken from fist of the north star only your head or limbs dont explode upon contact lol

Not unless thatās one of the big surprises with season 3 and it getās the R rating.
Could you imagine seeing Maya or Jagoās head swell up and pop after the Sensei does a few pokes to their face?
