Not to get too off topic, but you forgot his lack of understanding of how seeing the monsters in the game in skimpy swimsuits could possibly be considered humorous. That one he kept going on and on about in several of his rants.

No offense man, but I donāt care if these guys are unbeatable gods. I donāt owe their bratty rants any respect because they go to offline tournaments and place there. Larry is full of ā ā ā ā . Half the stuff he says is verifiably wrong, and the other half is subjective. And even if I agree with him about some things (Iād love to see more costumes), how is he helping exactly? A 2 hour YouTube rant? Can anybody think thatās anything but vanity? And I donāt care. If he doesnāt like the game he can go play something else. So can @llPaulBll, Bass and @F3Sleep (who at least gets credit for not trashing the game in the forums and in long videos). I wish them all well. Go find something you like.
But the idea that because āthe cool kidsā are upset about stuff we should all echo chamber their nonsense and run around repeating it and respecting it and considering it and jump to their defense when the dirty casuals donāt afford them the worship that they deserve is just nonsense. And I donāt blame people for being ā ā ā ā ā ā off about it. LCD and his complaining is about 95% of the reason that the Kilgore community fund upset people.
KI is a video game. If you donāt like it move on. I donāt like GTA - Iām not posting two hour videos to the GTA forums about how to fix it. These guys all just think they are more important than they actually are. They think they would do a better job than @TheKeits and they donāt get why he doesnāt take all of their (often conflicting, usually not grounded in reality) ideas. And again, besides making a fuss what do they think they are accomplishing? Like LCD saying āthese bugs need to be fixed!ā Is somehow going to help fix bugs? Like IG and MS didnāt realize there were bugs until seeing this two hour video? Itās all just unnecessary drama being driven by egos. I donāt understand where this insanity comes from where supposed āfansā just eviscerate the game over and over again and then we are all supposed to support them because they are doing it āfor the sake of the game.ā What? I do t know why I even opened this thread. As soon as I saw LCD in the title I knew how this was going to go.

The only thing I truly donāt agree with is KI going to PS4, Steam, Switch, whatever.
I donāt wanna come off as some sort of MS fanboy, but thatās just not going to happen anytime soon if ever as MS owns KI.

First of, I have never experienced any game in on any platform that is so regularly tended to, through patches, Devs involvement in the community, and/or community voices actually being taken seriously into consideration as KI, probably only PES & Warframeā¦
Some of us really underappreciate what we have here, and these so called Pros & streamers who abuse their platform to push agenda only make it worseā¦ LCD was a very good player very early on in KI reboot, and has progressively worsened as the seasons have gone on, not because of the devs or the game, just because he has not been able to cope & adaptā¦ Donāt let his established platform fool you into thinking his word is bond, play the game for all the things you like, by all means voice your concerns, but donāt follow his mold and trash and bad talk and degrade and shun the product plainly do to personal greivances..
He could of been one of the greatest voice for the game earlier on, especially in helping the expand the lore of KI, and he instead has always played on both sides of the coin regarding what he has broadcasted and put out into the universe regarding KI..

What alot of people donāt actually get is that alot of the gameās current issues stem from the coding double helix created. Ig canāt fix everything since they didnāt write the original code for the game. Hence why certain modes such as online training havenāt been possible. And the game is riddled with bugs. Dh unfortunately had to rush the system and they had never created a fighter before.

I just want to thank IG for creating the most awesome fighting game characters ever.
KI combines Marvel, BB/GG and Street Fighter characters and IG somehow made it work.
As much as I sometimes feel frustrated by some bugs, I just canāt stop playing the game. And I donāt care who stopped or stops playing it because I see new faces paying the game online everyday.
But I will keep on criticizing the game because there are soooo close to make the best fighting game ever.

Sorry for not reading all posts but boy, this thread escalated quickly.
I wanted to say, as a player who started playing KI since PC port release, I dont know how things looked back in S1 and S2, but to be honest I donāt experience that much game breaking bugs and I dont find S3 mechanics tedious because I am used to them.
As a former MKX player, Iāve seen some crap, like inconsistent hitboxes (Quan Chiās B2 timed correctly allowed him to dodge some projectiles XD), smaller hitboxes on females, even FREAKIN SKINS changing charactersā hitboxes, THAT was some major bullcrap, KI bugs compared to this feel like nothing to me.

No, Iām not brainwashed but he touched a subject that got to me too.
First I do understand he is burned out, Iāve been throught something similar in another game (which I was passionate about it and couldnāt stop playing because..I LOVED playing that game).
Regarding the video I kind of agree with many things but:
- Paying for costumes/accesories all the time. Not likely (itās ok to have some things in the game I payed full price)
- All platforms: NO. Other consoles have their exclusives and MS has the right to have one, the only thing I do believe is they should have cared more about the game and not just a free to play, but a AAA game.
About coherence in gameplay. He has a point. About risk reward and how people play, I also agree.
Ki 1 and 2 were also kind of āspecial move, special move, etcā but you canāt deny the combo breaker fest in the new one and the meta of the game can be annoying at times. But apart from that sometimes I felt that they tried to adapt the game to the new characters and not the characters the game (again, itās my feeling).
About common sense in costumes: itās truth that Sadira shows more skin than Orchid and itās not a big deal. But I donāt want to get started on that, itās not the reason I play KI. Kim Wuās face itās not the end of the world either. Thatās subjective. But If the lighting, effects or whatever looks very bad on certain texture/characters, then yes, thatās a problem because it makes it look bad quality.
I wonāt deny the work the devs put and how they communicated with the community. They are amazing. I can imagine how hard is to take a game that you didnāt start and keep on going. But so far I wish MS cared as much as these people had.
I really hope that if thereās going to be a new KI they can consider all the constructive critics and make a coherence and fun game to all the players that still play and for the ones that would like to play or comeback to the saga.
