when you say this, you should admit that designs and concepts for what we generally name as “aliens” and “monsters” its potentially and widely most various than what we mean for “cyborgs” and “robots” ones.

Thinking outside the box and clinging to my deepest of hopes and dreams, I’m going to say that Joanna Dark is going to be IG’s interpretation of shadow Orchid. With all the mind games IG’s played with us before, I’ll say it’s a play on words.
SHADOW becomes DARK.
They’re both agents and have great hair too so yeah, that can work.
Design/gameplay wise, they could be “perfect” counters for each other.
As for the 3rd, I think we need someone that’s not tall because most of S3’s roster were huge. That might be a problem for a love craftian character, unless it’s a kid that summons the great big tenticle-faced obscenity to fight for them, like Spinal’s skeleton arms or Glacius’s ice spikes.

I haven’t been disappointed in anything about this game yet (not really, anyway) - but now that I’ve imagined it, I can’t un-imagine it.
@DEClimax mentioned in another thread that we lack a proper Puppeteer archetype (ala the Clover’s from BB), and as a fan/dabbler of Carl myself, I absolutely love this idea. It just ties up SO SO MUCH good flavor, while having a lot of room to be mechanically compelling… this is like, the PERFECT KI character concept (now that all the original homies are in the clurb, y’feel?).

Pocket Fighter by Capcom is an entire game built around leveling up mid match by picking up tons of gems off the floor..
Red Earth (Warzard) by Capcom is another entire game built around leveling up mid match.
The Red Earth characters in Capcom Fighting Evolution (Jam) also level up mid match.
Frank West in UMvC3 levels up mid match by taking your photo.
I’m certain there are more examples out there. This isn’t at all an unexplored concept, but it can certainly lead to some cool characters.

Maybe another cool ancient monster type char, like maybe a Griffin, or a Chimera, or another Egyptian character like Anubis or Horus - that kinda stuff.
Actually a Big evil ■■■ cursed medieval Knight that is locked in his armor and cant get out of it would be cool.
Or…what about a Genie? nobody has done a Genie yet - except that trolly ■■■ Fighters History Dynamite street fighter rip off from the 90s lol - the boss was a fat genie called Karnov

True, and I loved the idea of the djinn on the survey. I personally think that could have ENDLESS potential. A character that can virtually do anything? Plus they could make them all dark and evil looking… What’s not to love?
Sadly, I don’t think that option scored too high in the survey, but I’m really hoping that they have a vision for it that’s so cool, they have to put it in the game.

Karnov was a ‘strongman’, not a genie.
I can’t say why, but I have very good reason to believe that we will be getting Shadow MAYA in this batch.
But we already got Shadow Maya in the last batch…
I know. Just a HUNCH. But I have very strong reasons.

One has to be eagle unless there’s a season 4. So probably Joanna dark and eagle.
I played that a few times on the NES back in the day. Then I went and played the arcade version at Galloping Ghost over in Brookfield recently and I was TERRIBLE at it. Still fun to see that game after so many years!
If that’s what we wind up getting, then I’d honestly be rather surprised if we got a 4th season. Both of those characters seem like the type they’d want to save for that, but I could be wrong.
