The retro is awesome, way more accurate than a lot of retros, the alternate colors are awesome too, but I kinda agree with those who wants a more faithfull retro and this is understandable.
Espcially with the accessory personnalisation in KI. knee and leg pads, the short, sandals even the top can have an alternate version in the accessory so those who think it’s better with more stuff on the legs or anywhere else can have it, and those who wants a perfect retro can also get it, so everyone is happy.
What I doesn’t understand is why IG/MS are still choosing the way of ‘‘we’ll please just a part of them’’ when it can be so easy to please everyone.

For a retro, yes you can, make it perfect from the original, put the extra on the accessory, thats it
You are right, and MK started to change them after what, maybe 5-6 games, maybe even more, they try it maybe to try something else, to change something but people still wants them perfect from the original today.
For those who don’t want it, you have something like 2 to 5 others costumes you can take.
It’s a great job Photoshopping, but I can’t say enough how bad this looks. It’s nearly a perfect recreation of the KI2 outfit and it just looks ridiculous. What we are getting is much, much better.

If you guys remember they always said that the Retros wouldn’t be spot on but would remain close to the originals
I’m glad we didn’t get that photoshop. Why? Cause it looks weird AF compared to the art style of the game. It doesn’t look bad by itself, but I feel like it would just look wrong when seen in motion against someone like…TJ or Maya.

Because, honestly… I’m just feeling sorry for you right now for caring this much about something so minor. It is alright to have passion for something, but you are going over and beyond, as if your life depended on these minor things being changed. One thing is to be dissatisfied with something, another is to overzealously cry your soul out on a forum about how much you dislike something which, again, is in the broad spectrum rather insignificant.
If there’s something I don’t like, I say it. But I don’t endlessly rant about it for days on end… and in your case, you have been doing it since the release of the game, and that’s now years ago!
sorry @TheNinjaOstrich you made a wrong comparison here. Reptile MKX are at least 97% faithful to MK3 costume. Not MK2. The retro costumes for the ninjas of MKX come from MK3 got it? MK2 outifits were used on MK9
