They are actually inspired by the 90s characters, so yeah, it’s fair to call them retros. If they were called alternate I’d be really angry instead, cuz I expect much more creativity for legit alternate costumes.
They’re called retro’s because they are not “classic” costumes proper. This have been said since the beginning. People pls pay attention

Nobody wants to prevent people from voicing their opinions, but if it isn’t done respectfully and calmly, or violates the TOS, then we reach the point where it needs to disappear.
Some of these arguments have been done so many times over that people are really sick of hearing them, and it’s not hard to understand how that’s going to make people prickly and invite pushback.

I haven’t seen the flagged post, but I was speaking specifically towards the quote, to be honest. Not related to anything else.
I’m not specifically talking about kim. I think in general it’s fair to call them retros. No dev ever stated they were gonna be 1to1 copies of the 90s designs… so I don’t see any reason to bash them. If anything, they all are a bit underwhelming… by being inspired by bad designs (by today’s standards)
Watch the old videos and read the articles. Then maybe the definition of the word “retro” while your at it.

This is ridiculous, news post like this one should bring us together and build the hype… instead all people want to do is bash devs and complain over and over…
We are lucky that IG/MS let us take part in the development of the game, we should’t abuse this opportunity. Other communities don’t even have the chance to speak and being heard by the devs. Just say what and why you like or dislike in a respectful manner… Everything else is meaningless flaming.

Something like “You’re still wrong, then.” would’ve worked much better and would’ve been less aggressive.
