Beautiful post. Although while I couldn’t care less about Ultimates and other ways to torment/torture opponents I understand it matters to a number of other people.

Edit: While this is a funny picture personally I think the budget didn’t go towards the lighting and they probably will use it on a real story mode which I’d be more than happy to have. That being said, I’d support a community fund for stages and maybe classic stages.
That being said, I don’t support themes being played out of their own stages. I don’t want to hear Spinals theme on TJ’s stage. I don’t want to hear Orchids theme on Fulgore’s stage. I don’t want costume picking of songs.

I’m already in the process of writing that right now. These two things needed to go hand in hand, though. They have a direct correlation between one another.

That’s honestly I feel about Eyedol as well. I REALLY don’t the guy, I know a LOT of people do.

I’ll take improved graphics and added goodies over a few extra stages ANY DAY.
If we get reworked Season 1 retros and Ultimates for all characters in S3 I will be eternally grateful. Those are my two remaining most wanted features and if it means a couple less stages to get it who cares.
Improved graphics + demanded features is WAY more important to me than a few extra stages.
If that’s the choice they had to make then MS and IG made the RIGHT one. Can’t wait!

There’s been a lot of negativity here lately. “It’s mid-Feb, where the **** is muh info?” is something I’m getting tired of seeing. About 90% of this thread is too.

Well, for one, there will only be 3 stages, but each character in season 3 will still have their own music?
It sort of implies switchable music during matches (or a possible problem of certain music not fitting the visual atmosphere of certain stages in general). I’m not sure how I feel about that. It might sound a bit jarring. 
On a side note, I’m sort of sad that the new non-guest characters won’t have their own stage. I feel they sort of added to the personality of each character.
And on guest-characters, I was always hoping to see a scrolling stage make it into the game at one point. A stage where the fight takes place on either something like a ship or a moving platform. Since there’s Kim’s stage, Tusk most likely getting his own stage, and we’ve seen the Arbiter’s stage, this probably means Rash isn’t getting his own stage. A potential Rash stage might have been perfect for this:
But I guess it’s understandable. There’s finite resources and you guys have to manage you’re workload. Though, from what I’ve been hearing the past couple of months, it might result in some excellent trade-offs.

That was fan speculation. All Adam said back then was that it was in-game footage, not that it was Arbiter’s stage. Could very well just be his intro or a part of his trailer.

Not exactly. I am saying that people have been ■■■■■■■■ on Microsoft from the outset of this generation, and I wouldn’t put it past a lot of people to avoid the 'Bone “on principle.”
I thought you could consistently get the current-gen consoles for $350 or less, with multiple games bundled in? I don’t know – I was a broke recent pure math graduate when I picked up my 'Bone with KI and two other exclusives bundled in, and it was a great (and very typical) deal.
But also, it’s the price you pay for wanting to own a PS4. I mean, it sucks that I can’t get Bloodborne or Uncharted 4 I guess, and I don’t think you deserve in some idealized sense to miss out or pay more just because you want to play those games, but that’s just the business model that the console vendors basically have to run these days. Wanting a PS4 more doesn’t mean you couldn’t’ve bought an Xbox One. It sure as hell doesn’t mean that the price of a PS4 and PC factors into the cost of playing KI.
