This is a pretty big let down imo. Not a lot of info and like I said mostly PC news. Tusk reminds me of what people often say about KI, it’s “generic fighter”. Still no news on whether KI gold can be used to buy characters. The new shadow moves makes the game lose more of its personality making it more generic. Who thought it was a good idea to remove the shadow move with after images for a glowing purple effect? Season 3, for me, is terrible so far.

I like it. The old one sometimes left too much thing on screen, all black, and you couldn’t know what was going on.
Thank you for solidifying the impression I already had which puts you square into the “never happy about anything KI does ever” crowd.
It’s absolutely amazing how you naysayers manage to find the smallest pixel out of place or wrinkle in something unfinished and start sounding the doomsday trumpets. There’s four weeks and MORE INFO WE HAVEN’T GOT YET.
But I’ll let you enjoy your pity party while I celebrate the awesome news and gameplay videos the rest of us have been really excited about for months.

Hard to say. Mind, I’m not sure we can confirm 2 new characters quite yet, as likely as we might think it to be.
If I had to guess, I might say 2 new characters, 1 more guest (for some reason the idea of 2 guests doesn’t sit well with me), and Gargos. I could see Eyedol being the community fund incentive, although that’s a bit more content than Shago was.

Believe it or not, some people want the game they enjoy to look and play their best. It’s kind of what it is to be a fan. If they do add the After Image effect back I’d be content but so far it does not look like an improvement from the last shadow move.

Tusk looks like a ton of fun and so does Arbiter! It’s nice to see Tusk’s stage a little more, and see it burning during the end of the match. I’m still feeling out the new Shadow Effects, but everything looks pretty awesome. Arbiter’s in-game model looks pretty stunning when you look at all the details.
I think the new Stage Fatality is a little unimpressive, but that’s the only thing. It all happens so fast and doesn’t give you much time to direct your focus on the crashing ship before the animation is over. But I’m hyped for everything else.
Can’t wait to use these new character and to see all of Tusk’s accessories and Retro. Gonna be a long month.
I still don’t understand why so little attention has been placed on making fight sticks work with the PC version, but now I guess I’m gladd I dropped the extra $140 last month ona couple CronusMax+.
I hope it shows up in Youtube soon.

4.i don’t like the lighting effect kan-ra stage. the characters contrast is so much more than the background that they look like stickers.i hate that effect.there is also in SF.

EVERYTHING looks absolutely amazing !!! Tusk looks out of this world good ,better than anything I could have hoped for ! After all , he really isn’t the easiest character to bring back from the mid 90s; but they knocked it out of the park !
To finally get confirmation of 8 characters is a HUGE relief; and they always say 8 , but so far in each season there has been a 9th ( bonus ) character, so it’s very possible that will be the case with this season . The graphics are mind blowingly good , and the new shadow moves look great too , for some reason they give off a 90s. Old school KI kind of vibe to me for some reason which is really cool . Kim’s face looks much better , and the three stage thing isn’t really a big deal anymore just based on the sheer quality of the 3 new stages we got . It’s insane how awesome this season is shaping up to be . I wonder if they showed today what the trade off was ? Not that I’m unhappy with anything . I know we’re supposed to be getting some new modes, which I’m sure we’ll see soon enough . The fact that we have " new " original characters coming, is so exciting and gives me that feeling I had during season 2 waiting to see the next character ! AMAZING job guys !!!
You forgot to add that playing KI on Windows 10 is free. This is a very good news (despite being obvious since the beginning).
The specs aren’t too much high, fortunately.

I’m a huge fan, and I also want the game to look and play amazingly - but the season being terrible because we’ve only seen half the characters, don’t have all the details of new stuff yet, and the shadow effects changed? It doesn’t make any sense. You (and a bunch of other people) have been posting things recently about “major, game-ending issues” related to small things, and seem to act like even though there’s still new information to be had throughout the month, Season 3 is a flop. I’m really excited about seeing these new things, and the way people are losing their minds over minor or unrevealed things is really tarnishing the joy I come here to experience these reveals with other people who enjoy the same game I do.
Look at all the other posts and all the things they’re happy or excited about! Even posts which aren’t happy about everything can point out the positives, and their dislikes aren’t seen as the coming apocalypse.
