No, I would never have boycotted you cannot boycott a company with one person, as I explained to you in that very thread my intention wasn’t a traditional “boycott” as I used it in quotations and explained it was just me voting with my wallet which is what you are supposed to do.
To answer your question though, as I said above and in the thread you are referencing I admitted they would most likely were going to fix it for the better but hypothetically for your question if they didn’t fix it I would just stick with what I have now I already have my mains and enough characters to keep me going but likely would have made another game my main go to game since that is something out of mt control. Same as some still play SF4 over SF5 because they don’t like it.

Anyways, boycott just means you would cut any connections to the game/company in protest against them. Aka never play KI again or have anything to do with it or IG. So yeah, you could’ve boycotted them, if you wanted to.

I don’t really try to cash out the move often. Sure you can but personally,it is better for me as a fear factor. The majority of the time,they just run which leads them to the corner.

Anyway, A good compromise worked out well for this. This was actually something that 343 did not achive with Halo 5 when it came to playable Elites. this works out well.

It is elementary to hope in an exclusive conversation when I am specifically addressing and asking a question to a certain individual and have you answer me, once okay, but multiple times without any acknowledgement from me.

Season 3 I hope, but if you haven’t played the game at all, then it’s much worse that you are judging this as harshly as you are. However, if we all based our opinions about a game on graphics alone, then the games industry would be one of the most misleading businesses to buy from wouldn’t it?
Now, call it a crazy hunch, but I think IG would have playtested such a feature at multiple stages of development, maybe even had a few people around the office or on the team just play it randomly. I bet even Maximilian, between work on trailers and other features, managed to get in a little time on the build with the ender animations. I believe a lot of talented people worked on this, and fine tuned it. Graphically, it may not have been as sharp as some may have like, but I will say a lot of things look differently from 360p and 30 fps, and then jumping to 900p and 60 fps. They didn’t seem to lose track of where they were on stage when it happened. Heck, the level 4 enders aren’t even that frequent in the game, but between all the playtesting and input the from some people high level players they have on staff, I’m sure someone would have spoken up during development if it was as big a problem as some of the people on this forum think.
Basically, if it caused problems in development, I think someone would have caught it by now, and said this can’t be in the final build, it’s just too bad. Call me crazy, but I have a little more faith in IG than to think they are gonna force in a piece of the puzzle that just doesn’t fit or work well. Or that they will leave it in if they are given enough player feedback to fix it. But at this point, NONE of us can give feedback, only speculation, because we haven’t been able to play the game in any facet with this feature implemented, and while you may not like it, the only opinions that can be formed at this point are pure conjecture because yes, you have had 0 hands on time with it to know for certain if it throws you off that badly.

And how is this any different from, “If they don’t fix this, I’m leaving KI forever.” Are you gonna still be the combo breaker edition on launch day and play even if they didn’t fix it? Because I totally don’t believe that was your intent either. You’re free to correct me if that was your intent, but I don’t believe you were going to buy any feature of season 3 until this was fixed, to which maybe you would have only played season 1 or 2 content. If that’s the case, I stand corrected, but you didn’t exactly make that specification, did you?
And yes, it does make you entitled. You may not like it, but artists (like game developers) don’t have to change a thing to suit your tastes. The game isn’t a paid commission you get to make a clear cut message for, but IG is kind enough to listen to a lot of community feedback, good and bad, and change their vision. You have taken advantage of this good relation of community and developer and held it at ransom to get what you want, comprimising artistic integrity to conform to your vision, or at least accommodate your vision, or else.
As for the narcissism, you’ve held yourself in such high opinion above everyone else with all the name calling, thinking your wallet matters more than any of ours, and you hold some high ground with a select few high level players, YOUR OPINION MUST OBVIOUSLY BE IN THE RIGHT.
To which you are also guilty of, I’ve seen you in more than just this one topic, or even your own, and pushed this point home a lot more ferociously than you are admitting to here.
That you like a lot of people, have played judge, jury, and executioner before you’ve even heard any evidence. Are there is at this point, two weeks before launch, no play time at all or personal experience, judging by only the smallest bits of information, not even enough to erase any trace of reasonable doubt, is pure speculation. Until you have tried it first hand, you can not accurately measure with any certainty how this will work.
And here’s more food for thought, you don’t have to buy anything to try the new enders. These system changes are coming, like it or not, and for some time, you’ll have to try them at least, you can’t avoid them, but you don’t have to pay for them. The characters and stages are what you are paying for, those ender animations and system changes are coming whether you pay or not.
