Really hype matches throughout the whole thing, even in LCQs.
That 3rd Sleep vs Thompson match though was super fun. The taunts and teabags were out of control.

Great matches all around. The Glacius x Aganos set and Sleep x Thompxson’s top 8 set were so hype. They had me cheering in my living room lol
All sadira has is her cross ups. Aria and Mira have that and more.

What a great tournament with so many great matches.
Even though it was Rico’s fault, I wish he had not had that DQ as I really wanted to see a Sleep vs Rico match sometime during the tournament.
I was rooting for Storm to pull it out, but playing that Aria the way Sleep plays it looks so frustrating.
I turned it off as soon as Sleep won GFs, but was the last character teased?
No character tease.
Though, apparently, that Sp00ky tradition where they close streams with that “You are all free now” clip got put up on the main stage. Hilarious.

I must have missed some fights, I did not see them!
But I was impressed with characters like Raam, Aganos, Mira, Killgore. Characters I did not expect to see.
Overall, I was impressed by how many characters were being used. The balancing and possibilities of all are almost perfect!
Sadira, KanRa and Kim need more tools (or buffs)! hahahah Do it Keits Do it!

21 characters in the roster were used in the top 32 matches that were streamed.
That’s awesome.
Kim, Arby, Kan, Eyedol, Rash(?), and Shago sat out of day two, but every character was played during LCQ on day 1.

What happened with Rico? He was still competing?
And those characters are all really good. It just shows the balance of this game is better than any other fighting game out there with a roster as large.

Rico didn’t show up in time for his first match, so he took a DQ loss and was bumped to losers bracket. It’s a shame, in the sense that he only “lost” one match in the double elimination tournament and made it all the way to Top 8 through losers bracket (which is pretty tough).
Having said that, there was nothing else for them to do and I wouldn’t necessarily believe that the overall results would have been much different.

On the other hand, that anger that Rico felt after that DQ propelled him forward. I heard he 3-0’d and landed 4 counter breaks on @BHswordsman09

What I learned after all was said and done is that the S3 OST is sick. Killgore, Raam and Kim WU themes really stuck out during the tournament.
