KI - What Are Your Favorites?

I was once part of a Naruto Storm forum & this was a fun thread we’d do sometimes when a new game in the franchise came out. Simply put, you list all of your favorite things about Killer Instinct in the appropriate categories. I’ll start off with some & you all can add any others if you’d like. Note that your Favorite things can be different from your mains.

  • Favorite Character - ARIA is my favorite char, love her design, though Orchid is my main.

  • Favorite Stage - Super tough to choose between Forgotten Grotto & Fury’s Core, but I’ll give it to Forgotten Grotto.

  • Favorite Theme - Orchid (Touch Me and I’ll Break Your Face)

  • Favorite Ultra Combo - Shin Hisako

  • Favorite Ultimate - Tusk

  • Favorite Stage Ultra - Village of Whispers

  • Favorite Char Intro - Shadow Jago

  • Favorite Char Outro (Win Pose) - ARIA

  • Favorite Instinct - Thunder

  • Favorite Char Taunt - Orchid

  • Favorite Color 9 - Shadow Jago’s, but man is Orchid’s a close second.

  • Favorite Accessory Set - Suplex for Retro Tusk.

  • Favorite Char Interactions - Cinder & ARIA

That’s all I can think of atm without it getting outta hand by naming off a favorite for every little thing in the game. But you all are free to add on as many more things as you’d like. Mines just an example of how it works. Enjoy!

Favorite Stage - It’s really hard to say, they are all good.

Favorite Character - Eagle (although new, I’ve waited for his arrival as a playable character and I LOVE his gameplay)

Another I thought of that I’ll add in is Favorite Character Interactions, so things like the story, lore, banter between Jago & Omen, Aganos & Kan-Ra, Sadira & Orchid, etc. I personally like the dynamic between Cinder and ARIA.

I just want to say, that I can say for certain Hisako is my favorite character (beating out Glacius, Thunder, Sabrewulf, Riptor, Kim Wu, Mira, and Maya) b/c she was at such a disadvantage when I got the game. I saw videos of her in tournaments before getting KI and thought “omg, just a The Ring clone, how dumb.” But after experiencing her lore and seeing the subtle changes and evolution Shin Hisako, along w/ her general flavor, she’s really grown on me. A lot. I’d have never thought she’d be my favorite just 2 weeks ago before getting the game.

Favorite Character - The Herald of Gargos himself Omen.

Favorite Stage - Stuck between devils landing or shadow tigers lair.

Favorite Theme - This one’s super tough, it’s a three way tie for me with “Back to Rise”, “The Herald of Gargos”, or Eagles them.

Favorite Ultra Combo - Arbiter.

Favorite Ultimate - Kilgore.

Favorite Stage Ultra - TJs level.

Favorite Char Intro - Shadow Jago.

Favorite Char Outro (Win Pose) - Gargos.

Favorite Instinct - Eyedol.

Favorite Char Taunt - Gargos with Omen a close second.

Favorite Color 9 - Love Omens new color 9 but I’ll have to give this one to eyedol.

Favorite Accessory Set - Kilgore’s first accessory set (honestly this should have been what his default look should have looked like from the beginning but that’s just my opinion)

Favourite Stage bonus: I love the tiger statue in jago’s state. I would like a bronze miniature one

Favorite Theme: Arbiter and Eyedol a bit more over the rest.

Pretty good variety of favorites in these post. A lot of you really like that Kilgore Ultimate though lol. Glad there are so many things about KI that we all enjoy. Here’s to hoping for even more content that we can add onto our list of favorite things.
