That was a neat way of taking an obscure, ultimately unnecessary, out of place npc from 20 years ago and bring him back in some small way.

On a similar note, I am ecstatic that this is finally coming to fruition…
I always thought of the “ancient warriors” that it would end up Maya and Tusk vs. the world, but Kim and Tusk work just fine to me too.

Novella predictions for today’s chapter:
Wulf fights Aganos, Mira fights Thunder. Mira manages to escape with the Relic.
In the next chapter, Shago and Kim fight, and maybe Tusk arrives.
It would be cool get a Gargos’ teaser in one of them, like Mira talking about the conven being loyal to him or something like that
I couldn’t help but cringe at this thought. Since we know the outcome of this battle. And I don’t even like shago…

Mira vs Sabrewulf sounds absolutely brutal in my head and I love it.
Love me some Cinder banter, and I love the fact that Tusk is continuing to beat the crap out of UltraTech. Dude’s untouchable.
Hisako smiling at Kim after she helps banish Shago is a realy hilarious image in my mind. “I like her style. Very goth…”
It was really good! Looking forward to seeing how Jago interacts with Kim in the coming chapters, or what the heck Tusk is going to do now.
My favorite chapter so far. ALL the KI characters are badass.

Pretty sick chapter so far, really enjoyed Tusk’s part especially the interacton between him, cinder and Riptor (her poor teeth ye-ouch

lol Cinder is my favorite character so far.
This chapter was a nice progression with all three characters. I like how (especially in the Kim section) the writer actually described in-game fighting moves.
I kind of want to see that super dragon attack, though…
