Iron galaxy at E3 2017

I’m about to take a flight but when i get off I’ll show you why it’s not.

Eagle looks great from his tease. I just hoped he would have been saved for a fourth season. Would have been great for Eagle to get a stage and a retro costume.

He gets a retro at least

excellent to hear. surprised i missed that bit of info but just caught it in the character thread.
As some one who was hoping for a fourth season though this doesn’t seem like great news as Eagle would have been the heavy hitter saved for that season imo. Any news if he’ll get more than one accessory set too?

Now it makes sense when i saw Rukari mention that they worked closely with the Nez Perce tribe once more for Eagle. I saw the trailer and was like really? not expecting a retro.

Yep, they aren’t.

The same as the end of S2.

Or at the end of S3

And both got more characters.

And there are at least 4 places which could use a character to make it more symmetrical(close to Jago, TJ, Fulgore and Aria)

Dunno, yeah, I could be pessimistic and belive that Eagle may be the last character because he was pretty called to come to be real. But I see enough hints to be optimistic

It’s “symmetrical” buddy.

More on topic, KI has been a big win for MS. It makes no sense for them to walk away from it. I have no doubt it has a future, they just might not have anything big planned for E3.

my idea is only 4 characters for season 4, but more, more stages and Ultimates!

2 new characters
1 reworked (Alien Riptor or Shadow Orchid)
1 guest (Joanna Dark)

Cost wise. I wonder if they’ll charge the $5 for characters and $5 for the stages unless u get the season4 pack for $40 … or something like that. Either way, I’ll be down!

SEASON 4 would be amazing!

MUST have stages though. Season 3 was totally dry. We need to go back to the level we saw in S2.

Exciting times though!

Just noticed your Ivy cosplay… Dude you are totally amazing. btw, Ivy is quite possibly my fav fighting game character (other than Sadira).

Back on topic…

Instead of an S4, I’d actually like a new KI game that moves away from the juggle heavy combo focus in this iteration and back to its S1 roots. While air juggling should be expected with characters like Sadira and Cinder, I don’t think the rest of the cast needs to be as juggle needy.

Instead of a bunch of new mechanics, I’d like the ones they have currently to be more refined. Flipout is a great tool, but there are certain characters that get more out of it than others, and I think flipout immediately into command grab needs to be changed.

A cast shake up would be cool as well.

hahah thanks! takes a while to get ready and i made all that myself (practically!) SC2 P2 costume was one of my all time fav costumes!

but that jacket was LIFE!! hahah

It was a good costume, but I would have to go with her SC2 Red Dress. I think SC2 Ivy was the best Ivy in appearance and gameplay. After SC2 they went all Dead or Alive with her and made her star attraction her… well… you know… rather than her amazing sword.

the rose costume was awesome! although i didn’t think it was ivy enough, it was possibly a bit too glamours imo. I see her as this dominatrix or this slightly masc English Admiral!

She looks great all the time though and yeah her ■■■■■ did get REDICULOUS! the valentine is AMAZING though! probably the best sword ever designed!

I always saw Ivy with a sort of Tilda Swinton type of beauty. Sadly they started to pull away from her androgynous appearance for a more freakish version. :frowning:

I want VALENTINE IN KI!!!

Not to seem like “that guy,” but has it? I mean I love the game and I want it to be a big win for MS. But I have no idea what the sales have been, what the revenue has been, what their goals for the game were etc. I feel like I’m completely in the dark about whether or not the game has been a big win. I know S1 and S2 performed well enough for them to add more seasons. But that’s about it.

I know it might seem like I’m just being an argumentative prick, but I think it’s important. If we are going to base predictions of the future on the game’s success, I’d encourage people to be rooted in reality when they claim the game has been successful. At least explain what your metric for success is.

Well, we thought Eyedol was the last char and we got three more, so maybe IG will have something to announce yet.

One thing is sure - its either something big or nothing. Hyping up remaining 5 Ultimates would get them laughed off.

Exactly. You can’t count downloads, because it is a Free to Play game. I am sure that there is a big difference between the season sales vs downloads.

I don’t see this being some over the top game for MS. I think the game did just enough not to get cancelled. I think it is one of the few opening titles that did not get cancelled like the “Spark” and the others.

You’re not a prick for saying it. I have neither the time or the inclination to go to deeply into it, so I guess one can think what they want. However, I would submit that if they are unaware of KI’s success, then they have not been paying attention. Obviously, KI isn’t the likes of Halo or Gears, but MS measures Xbox’s success in monthly active users. KI had over 6 million active users in March.2016, two years after Phil himself called KI a success. Two successful community funds, additional seasons, and extra content later, and we have MS surveying about the future of KI on the tail end of the season. MS’ behavior reveals it has been a win. Hell, KI has seen continued support in the wake of an ecosystem that saw a Fable game and Scalebound get cancelled.
