Itās all about the costumes- her new anti air and evade moves and new ivy-(soul calibur) inspired personality is great.
Just love the hoods and customization of costume making her interesting

Catwomanās gameplay is more up my alley, but I will definitely check out Ivy as well. They both look so great in this game, imo.

Yes thereās a similarity in the cat call move / goggles- but it ends there for me
but I think poison ivy has more people inspired to play than Catwoman- plus her outfit is so close to orchid and she has a cool āwhat ifā shadow orchid feel to me

I have a few disagreements with you here, but they are just small details really. Like, you say Catwoman now has Nightwingās superā¦ the thing they have in common is that they both ride a motorcycleā¦ but thatās where the similarities end.
And you say Ivy has Orchidās outfitā¦ wellā¦ itās a bathingsuit made of leaves which are green and she wears thighboots of the same material. Shape wise, yeah, I can see what you mean. But Orchidās is made of a sort of latex while Ivyās is plantmaterial, and none of the details are the same at all.
I also donāt see what you mean by Catwoman being in Miraās position. They donāt share any moves at all, or plot points eitherā¦ They donāt even look alike, other than both having black hair andā¦ well, being women.
You can prefer Ivy over Catwoman any day, that is your prerogative and you get absolutely no judgement from me on that pointā¦ but your reasons seem kinda questionable, imo.
Ivy is awesome though, but I am not feeling her gameplay all that much, but will still give her a solid try! She looks freaking awesome, and I am so glad they changed her face to look less mom-like.
Someone on the TRMK forum pointed out that she kinda looks like Nicole Kidman, and I can totally see that.

Catwoman is still the character in Injustice 2 who attracts me the most. And seeing her gameplay in the stream, seeing some of her awesome gear and some of her abilities, as well as her new special move, makes me see her as my main in the game. She was my secondary in the first game, Nightwing being my main, but since he wonāt be in the game (still hoping he will be DLC), Catwoman is my main choice.
Also, her new special move, the spinning claw uppercut, reminds me of Shikiās uppercut in the SNK games sheās been in.
And the way her character trait can be utilized in different ways to make a combo even longer and do more damageā¦ itās so amazing, imo.
I still kinda wish that she would use her whip more. An alternative would be if Ivy had a thorned vine she would use a whipā¦ instead she has the flail thing, which I guess is kinda neat, but it feels kinda weird for her to have that, imo.
My faves so far are the Gotham Sirens. None of the other characters really attract me, maybe other than Atrocitus with his blood magic. :3

Yeah, Atrocitus was part of a race in the dark end of space, being a sort of āHellā and his race being demonic, they used blood magic. Manhunters came to his planet and eradicated almost all of them, amongst them Atrocitusā family (wife and daughter). It filled him with so much rage that he became a Red Lantern and learned blood magic to get his revengeā¦ which is basically to eradicate all life.

I put Catwoman in Mira category in that they are Dark and are of the aesthetics of leather straps / items on garments and non flowing hair, really general stuff.
When I saw Catwoman leaping in air/ moveset which is almost dance -like
it made me think more of Mira that any other KI character I canāt see comparing her to say, Hisako
Iām definitely trying her out especially with the amazing gear loadouts she gets.
I canāt wait!
