WildStorm is one of the Big DC Comics imprints. It had series like Apollo and Midnighter, Gen 13, Stormwatch, and WildC.A.T.S.
I recognize the name Midnighter… he’s LGBT, right? Or am I confusing him with someone else?
But yeah, it’s kinda odd how some of the lesser known characters that are requested aren’t actually all that lesser known… they tend to have been shown in some cartoons or tv shows, and that’s why people start to request them.
I don’t know if any of those have been in other media though.
Midnighter and Apollo are essentials gay Batman and Superman. They are married.
WikdC.A.T.S. had a cartoon in the 80s. But that was it.

Truth be told. Apollo and Midnighter would be redundant as playable characters. They would work best as premier skins for Superman and Batman or Red Hood.

Here is my view on gay characters in video games. Please don’t add them just because he is gay. That is one of the worse ways a character can be done. Make a good character first. If that character happens to be gay, that’s fine. Just don’t make that the focus of the character.
Look at Kung Kin from MKX. He’s a solid character with a backstory and cool design. Sure he is gay, but that isn’t the focus of the character. I don’t mind that. People don’t describe Kung Jin as a gay character in MKX. People describe him as an archer. See the difference? Have a character be gay is fine. Just don’t make that the main thing about the character.
