OK, maybe clunky wasn’t the right word…stiff perhaps? I’m not saying the game is bad by any means, but it doesn’t flow the same as KI does, and putting a KI character in I2 you would definitely notice the difference.

Also, they aren’t dial-a-combo, they are combo strings. They aren’t worse than hitting MK* in between two special moves to make a combo out of it.

Eh… it’s a little clunky. I think you can guess what he means. The larger point is it’s a very different mechanic than KI. I think Injustice 2 is awesome but the combos are pretty robotic.

@BigBadAndy And I think you know what I mean by defending it as not being clunky…as in … its a damn good game and should be given a chance.
@WrathOfFulgore Agreed…stiff compared to KI sounds better. WHen I hear CLUNKY, I think of all the Dark SOuls purists that rant and rave over Lords of the Fallen or The Surge as Clunky because it isnt their easy peasy Dark Souls combat. ( As in “I suck as Lords of the fallen and the surge because I didnt give it a chance so Im going to call it names and say its clunky”

Isn’t his big arm like a fundamental part of his character design though? Like, not having it makes him look like a completely different character. Having it be removable through gear kinda destroys the point. In other words, of course nobody could tell it was him because it doesn’t even look like him.
It is, but I don’t think it is removable as such, but we will most likely have gear that alters its appearance. Which means it is a removable part of his character model.
Well by that logic, Raiden’s hat could also potentially be removable from the shadow, or Black Manta’s helmet except both are still present in the shadows. At that point though, nobody would even be able to tell it’s them at all anymore because the most important pieces of their designs are missing. They were the most recognizable because of this.
Oh and btw, I don’t see this problem that you have with Raiden’s design in this game. I thought they were trying to make him look like an MK ninja with a bare chest. Fujin would be a better example.

I find it interesting that I’m obsessed with collecting the gear that most looks like starfires complete spacesuit I live the longest gloves bodysuit / pants they look so sleek.
The epic fierce bodice looks awesome in each color.
I hope one day they add a tight ponytail like danyerys or the never ending story princess

my only problem with hellboy is that his face is too smooth. someone had put up a picture of his comic and it only made me realize how different a 3d model with a smooth face would look weird compared to his rugged comic look.
maybe im going crazy, being a stickler for details or its simply the artists liberal use of shadows in the comic that makes it seem that his face shouldnt be smooth. but somehow the injustice model seem to have a concrete smooth slab for a face which isnt necessarily what i think hellboy should look like.
im not asking for literal chips and dents but…idk something feels missing and i dint know what until i saw the picture from the comic. i dont know how they could replicate this scars? bumps? slight indents? “magically demonic/darker” shadows etched across his face like the comics?
i wonder if this is the sort of detail that wont matter once he is in game and in motion as your paying attention to the fight instead of his face.
