This is surprising. I actually liked playing as the Arbiter and seeing things from the Covenant’s perspective. I kind of have had been hoping that there would be more of that.

I loved playing as Thel, and seeing things from the Covenant perspective. Halo 2, is my fav Campaign in the franchise in-spite of it’s flaws. It’s story is excellent.

In turn for the Covenant, NOT all within the alien empire/organization are villains or at least are NOT total baddies then?

Correct. We’ve seen that with the Covenant Civil War and the post-Covenant era.

As a playable character and a prominent re-occurring one, yes. Though there are others.
