Classic Moon more text then thought. Nobody cares about sales why would sales determine a great game? Even Steel_Fantasy has gone as far to say.
You make it sound impossible to unlock the armour you want, yet like I said before “By the time you hit 40 if you’ve played wisely you’ll have all the common armour” practically all the armour in the game because like you pointed out all the uncommon and rare are just stripy alternatives! 343 art just going to give you the best armour day one when they would like you to be playing for years.
Sounds like user error to me.
Also fix that list Halo 2 goes in at 1st or 2nd no questions asked it introduced the mechanics and gameplay your still playing in Halo 5. I can’t tell if your trolling me?
How dare you not include Halo Reach in your best to worst list! How in the heck does everyone seem to forget about that 1!? IMO, it was 1 of the best Halo games there was!
My (brief) thoughts on the game:
Gameplay-wise, H5G is the best Halo game in the franchise to date.
Customization-wise, I feel as if they took a step backwards (limited options for armor and emblems).
The REQ system is fine overall (2 permanent unlocks PER level-up +2 more/week for 7 weeks if you get the Warzone REQ bundle).
The story is really good and is comparable to other Halo games in length (personally though, I blew through 10 missions in a single evening of play).
Multiplayer maps not as memorable as previous Halo games.
Missing multiplayer modes (where’s oddball?).
New multiplayer modes pretty cool overall (breakout, warzone, etc.).
No Forge mode (yet - it’s coming).
Many iconic Halo visual elements have changed (e.g., the appearance of the rocket launcher).
My only real complaint is no split screen and no playable elites. If it had that this game would be worth a 9 in my book but it only comes out as an 8 for me.
I’ve been getting the gold packs because it gets the good stuff first. At this point, I’m just getting the packs because I want something to do with the points, lol. I don’t have the obsession with unlocking like some do, I play for the fun of playing, and I want to look cool.
