I know for a fact it won’t be a sort cuddly cartoon character like Banjo or Conker, anyone who seriously believes that’s possible needs to chill out a bit and look at things logically.
My choices are still going to be from MS owned IPs.
Arbiter: Halo
Except that lately Mileena has become a main focus in the MK series. And Ed Boon likes her a lot. Usually It’d be Scorpion as the #1 go to, but if KI is in need of female characters, Mileena would be the first choice
I like those choices. And again, I’m hoping it’s not Mileena or any MK character. I just have a bad feeling it is..
Imagine my disgust downloading PS4 Injustice Ultimate edition and there is Scorpion.

The more I think about the more it sounds like it’s Banjo and Kazooie. The interview clues were that the gender would give it away and silhouette would be super obvious.
Gender: If it were simply a male or female character then giving the gender would have narrowed down our guesses but it wouldn’t have given away who it was. But if it’s a male female duo then we would have guessed it right away.
Silhouette: Any normal human character wouldn’t have a super obvious silhouette so we can rule out Joanna, most MK characters, and Marcus. Chief could maybe get away with it at an awkward angle. Arbiter, Raam, etc. could all still work, but Banjo and Kazooie would be super hella obvious from just their silhouette.
Also, throughout the interview he constantly kept referring to the “guest” as “guests” plural. He couldn’t have been talking about Rash because he was specifically talking about the reveal of the “guests” So unless there is a third guest character coming the next logical choice would be a duo character.
Plus out of all the Microsoft IPs that have been sitting on the back burner Banjo could have easily caused money signs to light up for MS after they saw the huge success of the Yooka-Laylee fundraiser. But not willing to throw money into the development of a full game they decided to test the interest waters by having them get added to KI as guests.

Yeah, he’s one of my favorites in any game. Wish Fable was more popular because I think its a perfect match for a KI fighter.
It’s just an OD from sunset overdrive. 
I still want it to be Atlas and P-Body from Portal 2 - it just seems to fit the whole theme of inter-dimensional portal travel between Gargos and Rash that’s being set up by S3. You can’t say whether they’re male or female because they’re neither, there’s more than 1 as they are a duo, their silhouette would make it obvious who they were, and they kind of fit in with the whole Fulgore/ARIA robot aspect too.
If it’s an MK kharacter, I’ll be just… I don’t even have words to express how awesome it would be. I hope though it’s a fighting game character, always nice to see how they play in different titles.
Uh, except they don’t have any moves other than “shoot portal” and “jump on switch”.
Why would any sane person want robot guest characters from a completely unrelated game who don’t even fight?
I love Conker, I pine so much for him to get a new game, but your post just reeks of wishful thinking. He is a highly implausible and illogical choice to be in the game for an enormous number of reasons, and the fact that he has a 15th anniversary coming up is completely irrelevant. Conker does not have any potential material to work with to bring him into the KI universe. As a fighter he would obviously be a midget character (like Viewtiful Joe/Rocket Raccoon/Arthur/Servbot from the Marvel vs. Capcom games), which right off the bat is a terrible idea, due to his small wonky hitbox that lets most attacks completely whiff on him. But on top of that, Conker just doesn’t have any moves that lend themselves well to KI. He has a frying pan, and he urinates on people… that’s about it. If you seriously believe that they’re going to put a character that urinates on other people as an attack, you are completely out of your mind.
You forget so easily about Joanna Dark from Perfect Dark, who fits this game like a glove, unlike Conker who sticks out like a sore thumb. Joanna is a secret agent from a cyberpunk future world also ruled by megacorporations, that has visits from aliens and all sorts of high tech gadgetry. Conker is an alcoholic squirrel from a world of homicidal teddy bears and giant piles of ■■■■ that sing opera music. This is a complete no-brainer; Joanna is the second guest. Conker requires such a massive stretch of the imagination that it’s unfeasible and undesirable to put him in over Joanna.

If it’s Joanna, that may be a hint of a new PD game.
I don’t think Banjo-Kazooie or Conker will be the character. They would have to be really small and while that is possible (take a look at Toro/Kuro in SFxTK), I don’t really know if that’s something Iron Galaxy would want to tackle. I personally feel like it would be harder than getting Aganos in the game. Since they are so small, mid and high attacks wouldn’t look like they connected (it would look like a punch going over their head or something, as an example). Of course, they could always make the characters larger or something – but that just wouldn’t look right in my opinion. Also, they seem to really like diversity in their Seasons, and we already have one goofy/weird guest character (Rash) – so I’m pretty sure the second character will be someone more “serious”.
I also highly doubt it will be a Mortal Kombat character. Some people think Scorpion will be in for some reason, but why? Scorpion is owned by Warner Bros. and they currently have a partnership with Sony. It would make no sense at all for a MK character to get in. Some people also think one of the guests will be a horror character like Micheal Myers. I don’t think that would happen because that’s kinda MK’s thing, and I doubt Iron Galaxy would want to copy them and do the same thing. Also, if we are talking about Micheal Myers specifically – there’s no way he will get in, because he’s also owned by Warner Bros.
Characters like Lara Croft from Tomb Raider might be a slight possibility, but I still doubt it. Square Enix has only made a deal with Microsoft for Rise of The Tomb Raider to be a TIMED exclusive, so the game isn’t even a 100% exclusive Xbox game. I don’t see Square Enix in making another deal with Microsoft to put her in a fighting game. I just don’t.
Cortana has an okay-ish chance. She IS apart of Windows 10, which is the platform that Killer Instinct is coming to (of course). I could see them trying to market that a little bit. She’s a Halo character, but she is also apart of Windows 10. Kinda fits actually… aside from one thing. What would her moveset be? And how would she be fighting? I just don’t see how they could make it work, but I’m sure they could come up with something if they really wanted her in.
Arbiter has a good chance. Halo 5 did come out recently, so I can see them wanting to do a character from that if they didn’t want to do another Rare character. And from what I’ve seen from his design (I’ve never played Halo, so I can only look at stuff on the internet) he seems to kinda fit. Wouldn’t surprise me if he made it in.
Joanna Dark has the biggest chance in my opinion, especially since Adam said that the gender would giveaway the character. If you say “the character is a male” there’s tons of things that come to mind as a possibly, like Master Chief, Marcus Fenix, Arbiter, etc. If you say “the character is a female” really only one character comes to mind – Joanna Dark (and maybe Cortana). So if he thinks the gender would give it away, I personally feel like the gender would have to be female – in which case, it’s probably Joanna Dark. Get what I mean? If it is true that he said the second character would be more of a surprise, keep in-mind that he could just be trying to mess around with us and throw us off. Maybe he’s trying to get people to expect her a little less to make it more of a “surprise”?
To be clear, Adam Isgreen said that revealing the character’s gender would be “giving too much away”. He wouldn’t be saying this if it were a male character. A female character narrows down the list considerably. It has to be Joanna.
I’m hoenstly with you on this I think that character is most likely since those characters are currently the most asked for.
