I guess the idea is that you’re stopping fighting the symptom and eventually go after the disease.
And besides that they never really spell out what “corruption” really is. Are people just turning into a-holes? Are little astral demons running all over the place killing people? Are all the parents turning into Ivan Ooze’s mesmerized slaves? Are millions/billions/trillions (is the world population up to trillions yet?) going to die? I mean it kinda makes you wonder if letting the world get corrupted is such a bad thing people can tolerate it for the sake of destroying Gargos, or if you’re killing off whole parts of the world in order to have a shot at him.
What and who did you use? If you don’t mind me asking.
I used Wulf, Arbiter, and Riptor. Honestly the artifacts didn’t help me much. 
the time I wanted to use them I ended up getting locked out. Lol. Gargos also had 3 buffs shudders Took me 4 tries.
Godlike difficult I can’t even get a hit in. 
and I’m using Gargos, Wulf, and Riptor. Oddly enough I can get pretty far with Gargos, guess it takes a cheater to beat one lol. Love the dialogue oh him seeing himself.
Keep at it you’ll beat him.
This is a beta I can’t imagine what the devs have for a finished Gargos.
Did my first playthrough on challenging and gotta say without his buffs gargos was a Breese.
I got whupped by Gargos hardcore a few times on Godlike. Was frustrating.
I ended up beating him with Fulgore using the hype beam to knock him down then tripped him over and over again when he had his instinct on. When I was tripping him over and over again, he had his minions out but they were just sitting there watching and not attacking lol. I got really lucky!

Agree he’s hard in fact I did beat him and I was like “Finally I beat him” but he got back up and i’m like “im so done” I tryed to beat him on my 2nd life and I failed. So yeah I agree with all of you guys he’s too hard but he try hard on his 2nd life which is dumb.
I know. ITS TOO HARD! It’s beyond hard. I did the same thing. I removed all his buffs and had some wicked perks on. He whooped on me so fast. It’s beyond frustrating. I really HATE this mode right now.
