Lost to him badly twice. Once he had all his buffs and once none. Then I went at him with mira who got him to about 20 percent life before falling and finished him with Hisako and a vampire bat. He’s a proper boss.
just got done play shadow lords this was my second run He OP i Even Remove one of his buffs and he still wrecked me Man! i almost Broke one of my controller

Got him with full powers on normal, now going for Godlike with no powers, gonna tear my way through them omens, that will get me the achievement.
There isnt an achievement for godlike with all powers right?

If you can get three of that one consumable that makes you invincible and gives you three shadow meters, you can absolutely steamroll Gargos. If you can’t get that, then the armor guardian + the infinite shadow meter consumable works pretty well. Make sure to stack damage increase buffs on your guys as well.
Invincibility for 15 sec? That one? Or is there one that is better?
There’s one that gives you invincibility and infinite Shadow Meter. Stuck that one on Aganos and quite literally rolled all over Gargos.
See while I get this, I don’t know how true it is exactly. Mostly because SL doesn’t play the same way as playing a boss does when it comes to most fighting games. In most of them you’d get wrecked, sure, but you can immediately continue afterwards and try again. I mean when playing through MK9’s story mode, Shao Kahn was a flat out b@stard, just killing me over & over & over…Arcade mode too. but since I could continue I learned his patterns and finally beat him. In SL you get 3 chances total and that’s it…back to the start with you and your bag of holding. I mean it’s really hard to compare him because it’s such an apples to oranges scenario.

Try this: beat him on the hardest difficulty setting with only 1 character while he has all of his buffs when you have none of your own - and do so on your 1st try.
…then come back and talk to me.
yeah I just got my butt kicked by him too. Even removed the buffs, lol! Played challenging.
I beat Gargos on Godlike with a single character last night. I had my buffs to +40% damage increase… -40% damage taken… Snake Guardian and the consumable that heals you through the match. Very close, but I won.

Not to sound stupid, but what triggers gargos to arrive? once I beat all four omens should I just let the world get corrupted?
3 continents have to become totally corrupted.
Yeah which is a bit dumb honestly. The whole point is to STOP him from arriving, but it seems the only way to win is to let him arrive and beat him.

Well gargos is coming, you can delay him as long as possible. Maybe if someone keeps delaying something will happen.
