Eyedol with one or two heads? (Poll)

I’m sorry no disrespect but him being “too goofy” is a bad excuse. Either they can’t take on the challenge of making him or they just don’t want to.

Yall forgot something friends . When They make characters now they don’t really care what we are awaiting from a returning character just look at tusk
A come back character totally changed :scream: ( I’m nope against the new gameplay tho cause I do no even use tusk ,just cause I don’t like )
And another thing I feel too .
They don’t like eyedol as the same way they do no like Sadira and the wulf… (meanwhile there is a lot of eyedol ,sadira and wulf real fan)

ALSO THEY FORGOT SOMETIME THAT THEY DO THE GAME FOR PEOPLE’S AND NOPE FOR THEM SELF!!! (I mean there is much people’s attached or nope to some system ) but they don’t care :worried:

from there I’m do nope awaiting anything surprising from IG .
Im Just waiting the next KI generations.

Yeah, but there was a reason for that. KI2’s background story was everybody got thrown into the past where they met barbarian, jungle chick, and asian chick. In this KI there has been no going back in time, so for Tusk to exist they had to have a way to add him that made sense…so he time traveled to the future…the hard way.

:joy: lol the easiest way tho.

Magnificent :heart_eyes::heart_eyes::heart_eyes::heart_eyes:

Try searching “ettin” instead.

Basically what the D&D folks did to (successfully) overcome the “goofiness” stigma.

GIS’d “ettin”, looked super goofy to me.

Really? I thought they looked great. Much less goofy looking than freakin’ Aganos.

I think were getting worked up for nothing, these guys know what they’re doing, we know we have one guest and another left… very much possible they strategically left Eyedol for last due to the difficulty with design, and also just to have S3 go out with a bang, or maybe they really didn’t go with Eyedol for S3 and we get Eagle or something, that would also be great. then that at least leaves Eyedol for S4 or whatever is next

this is RETRO not a new design… perfect for retro. Nothing new here!

this is a joke… just a retro with armor. Cmon guys… just put some spikes and skulls dont make a good char or good design!

you want to take the character back. But not want to give up anything for current KI.
Look at all that has been done so far, and tell me if any new design follows the former KI line.
You have to “let go” and accept that… to have a new Eyedol he MUST evolve and change!

Put armor and fill with thorns and horns is not quite what the MS / IG do when they think of the new design

Well, in that case we must agree it all comes down to personal taste. What looks goofy to some may look cool to others.

To me, for instance, Omen’s design is a lot goofier than Eyedol’s. But that’s me.

whats goofy about it? the concept of a shadow man has been feared and used as a horror legend across many cultures around the world.

That really depends on how specific you’re getting. If you get down to the minute nitty-gritty, no they all have been updated. But the main details of what make up each character is still there. Jago: Asian type fighter monk/ninja wears blue, carries a sword, wears a mask…check. Fulgore:Ninja robot with an orange ponytail and blue blades on his arms… check. Tusk: half naked, huge back muscles, carries a sword…check. Orchid: black haired chick wears green, but not much, carries yellow laser sticks…check. All the new designs have echoed the old well, just with more flourish. I think it’d be safe to say something like what was pictured is what he’ll end up looking like.

small details and in general resemble the character! it is clear!

But want exactly the same character, it is for retro not for the new!

And some of them, have changed radically and for the better (I think we agree on that)

Fulgore for example, he does not need to change much, we do not get what makes it cool. Jago, orchid same.

But Glacius for example, riptor, even cinder. Tusk as you mentioned, the current is much more “cool” than the generic barbarous of KI2

Eyedol have to follow the line these more radically modified. Keep identity, with 2 heads, fighting with a mace? sure, why not! Leave it with a more aggressive look and “badass”? Sure!

but hey…maybe like a siamese twin, maybe with a hindu, egyptian look, maybe with humans legs, or alien legs why not? Maybe with 2 or 3 ou more eyes… take the essence of the character, set up a level and we have a cool and different char to play. Without the generic look of old times!

But we are going anywhere, asking exactly the same character just with armor and horns! Or even with absolutely nothing like the pictures here!

…It’s apparently what they did with Gargos…

You really see the new Gargos, like the old one, just with horns? then I have nothing more to talk about!

@TempusChaoti After seeing the creatures in Lords of the Fallen, Bloodborne and Dark Souls…I think you of all people could come up with someone inspired by these games, especially Dark Souls which you love… You could totally make Eyedol from that “trope” and knock it out of the park. Too me the “Warlord Orc look” from Lords of the Rings and Dark Souls would be so awesome and really needed in Killer Instinct IMO

this I precisely what was done for Tusk, Jago, Spinal… that design exactly fits the KI formula, remove the collection of skulls that is a superb Eyedol

He pretty much Is the same as the old one, just with horns

I’d prefer for Aganos to take his place, his story is more compelling. He also fits better between Aria and Gargos, as he is a being made by man and given life through shadow energy. His current state shows that he could put himself together in interesting ways, I’m very curious to see what he can do with the excessive amounts of Shadow energy seeping onto earth.

I would disagree

Different face, different wings(more looser, less rigid and tattered at the end) taller, different kind of skin(rough stony with rigid ends on the arm compared to the stony smooth skin) much different posture/stance. Greater emphasis on magic considering the glow at the end of the horns.
