Eyedol MU: Scublord Report

I didnt say that’s why they quit, because the move is broken…I just said 2 rage quit from me do this move over and over just like the video above. IM not looking for a justification..lol…Im just stating what happened. Just as I stated the Fulgore DPd out of it and didnt rage quit.

If it works use it until it doesnt work anymore.

I agree with the closing statement, for sure! I wasn’t trying to out you on blast or nothing, but if you were just spamming j.HP and they rage quit… well, it’s much of a stretch to assume the why of it.

That said, being RQers, it’s safe to assume that regardless of what you were doing to win, they’d have RQd.

youd think so but it hits nothing BUT vertical. Ive whiffed that thing so many times unless the opponent is trying to caress me with their face it doesnt connect. a legit DP has its hitbox in front of the character like Jago.

Too bad jago’s dp suck’s for cross-ups. Which alot of players do. I know it goes straight up…ARIA has one similair (only it’s better).

I have to admit I do something similar when facing beginner bronze and silver league players. I just smash them with Aganos’ sweep over and over again. It’s sadistic. Once they realize you gotta block that move low, they often have only 40% of their second life bar left.
The game tells me Aganos is my best character…lol

wow

The jumping HP covers him from behind as well. I just jumped over him for a cross up and I got stuffed out with this jumping HP.

FML

Needs to get nerfed.

Thanks for posting that, now there I can add that D-bag to my block list. That was really cheap. I would rather lose than win a match that way. He was doing that so he would not change heads. The sad part is that video is going to create more Eyedol’s like that. This is why certain characters are hated. People find some cheap ■■■ setup and spam it. Now I do the first part of that move to setup my full juggle combo, but would never just spam the one move. At least this will get patched.

As for help, I don’t think I can help you. You look like a great player, and a better Sadria than I could hope to be. That being said, would a back dash work?

This type of thing is normal when a character is new, especially in KI where offense is made to be ridiculous. You’ll come across guys like this and lose to their stupid strategy. The best thing to do, is after the match is over, go into training room, record what they did, and try to defeat it. That way you are calm and can think and analyze what is happening, which may be difficult to do in a match b/c you are so shocked at the scrubbyness that your brain has to dial down a few notches to comprehend. Then, if you run into it again, you know exactly what to do. I think m.Recluse is probably your best bet against this (as others have already stated). After a few weeks, you won’t see this anymore b/c everyone will have figured out how to beat it, but until then, you have to invest time into figuring out the option for you.

I think I had similar experiences w/ Kan-ra when he first released, if anyone was around when he first came out, you know what I’m talking about b/c that character was as broken as a glass thrown off a skyscraper.

@MoBVertigo It is completely mind-f@€king me right now and it’s spreading to other MU’s, so going to the lab is the best course for me.

This isn’t the only thing that is affecting my game. This week alone my stats have taken a nose dive and it’s not just MU’s. The game just feels really foreign to me now and I really think that this might be the thing that breaks my back.

I know every new Season is a struggle for everyone, and there are MU’s you can’t win, but I really can’t see myself getting over this S3 hurdle.

Well you did say you were a rookie right?

I’ve been playing since Jan 2014, but I would still say I was mid-low player.

So what you’re saying is that you have to be top tier to beat the MU?

No. It was more of just need more practice. That’s really it.

Fair enough.

I’m just at a complete loss with this character right now.

I can’t jump, but I need to jump because it’s pretty much her only approach. I can’t crouch, because his overhead is so quick. I can’t stand, because his lows don’t require him to crouch. Can’t wake up because his DP is safe. Can’t poke because his reach is really far.

Granted, Eyedol’s not the worst MU, but I think that’s one of the main problems that I’m having.

I can pretty much guarantee a Gargos opponent will near enough get a perfect on me, but Eyedol feels like he shouldn’t be this much hassle.
