I feel the eyedol to modern Ki is going to be like motaro to modern Ki. Fans begged and begged and begged for motaro to come back but it never happened…
Not Motaro…Goro or Kintaro, but not Motaro. Motaro was not an interesting to play against at all. He was a wall that could punch that would punch back and occasionally grab you. Eyedol was actually kinda fun to fight…definitely satisfying to beat. Eyedol you could beat using your normal play style. On Motaro you had to throw all stragedy out the window and resort to jump kicking while praying that he didn’t grab you. Everything else was utterly ineffective.

If they already have the chraacters they wan tin the game already then having Eyedol shouldn’t threaten anyone else.
Yup. Eyedol was also playable with a cheat code and had Primal Rage II got made, Necrosan would’ve been playable with a code to.
Personally, I actually like the idea of cheap final bosses in games it’s what adds to making a game very memorable. Even when you get angry with loosing to them so many times but when ya look back, you would think they were cheap, but it was still one of the best memories you’ve had.
So Eyedol being cheap in the original KI should not effect his inclusion here.

Ah, Cyber Akuma…full-screen Raging Demon grab, homing missle FP…yeah that guy was a b**tard. I remember watching a friend play against him in college, and he was taking so long we all left & went to the nearest convince store & hung out there for like an hour, and when we came back he was still fighting him. Good times.
Took more than a demon spam to beat him for me.
Why do we have to keep fighting for seasons? The developers know the original characters, and they know the kind of fan base ki has. Why don’t they just tell us from the start how many seasons they plan to make, instead of the obligatory sense of having to campaign and lobby for more stuff?
because they dont make the decisions to do another season. MS has the final say and if they dont like the profit KI is etting them they can easily say no more seasons KI is dead.

Because as long as KI keeps doing well more seasons come. Heck they were working on season 1 they never mentioned season 2. and only by having the games be successful can a season happen.
No, they mentioned other seasons. I remember someone talking about guests even during season 1 and they mentioned that if they were to pull anyone from the Halo franchise it’d probably be Arby because he’d fit the best.

It’s been July for a day now which means we are that much closer. I hope the content releases are not all the way to the end of July like during the last 5 days. Anyway whose is excited for The Boss of all Bosses EYEDOL. Maybe Eagle as a bonus? Maybe? But Eyedol for sure!
