if IG brings Eyedol as a pseudo version of Goro i could praise them for years! Beastly cyclops with satyr legs and a massive club with a gameplay similar to Goro. Now thatâs a freaking dope!

I donât want Eyedol back, heâs a terrible design and resources would be much better used elsewhere.

Seriously, people, design is not an argument. EVERY character is REDESIGNED in order to enter the new KI.

Itâs hilarious how quickly I get jumped on for expressing my opinion.
We need dozens of things added to the game before using precious little resources to re-imagine one of the worst bosses in fighting games.

Improbable, theyâve already said Shadow Jago is the only character with an Ultimate.
Already done, just wait for Season 3.
I donât care for those just as you donât care for Eyedol, so itâs personal opinion, but I assure you there are much more people asking for Eyedol than Classic Stages and 1080p.
Plus, there are tons of Classic stages to make, Eyedol is only one character. And If we are already getting only 3 NEW this season because they have chosen to work on other things besides stages, I highly doubt they will ever make Classic stages.

I donât have the exact piece but if I recall correctly someone said on a recent stream that we are not seeing the new HUD right now because it was an early build but we are going to see it by season 3 arrival. But I can be mistaken.
As of the rest of your post, this is the oficial Killer Instinct forum so I donât think itâs more important what people are discussing in other places than what we are discussing here. This is the main source of opinions for devs.
I want Ultimates and Season 1 retro fixes too but I canât do anything against an oficial confirmation.
Again, calling Eyedol and his gameplay stupid IS USELESS once if he is in the new game he is going to be an absolutely new character. Just like Tusk.
About being a waste trying to reimagine him, itâs your opinion.
Itâs not healthy to try to deprive people of what they want unless itâs certain you are losing your requirements instead. The main concern of the Eyedol threads is asking for him to be made, not asking to the devs to work on him instead of other stuff.
As for the complaints about this forum, Iâm sorry you donât like it. You are always free to discuss whatever you want anywhere else.

Your opinion. Not a fact, and shouldnât be stated as such. I have seen many people in various xbox and KI related parts of reddit express that they would like to see both Eyedol and Gargos brought forward to KI. So yeah, you donât like Eyedol, thats fine, but donât go around insulting others because they do like him. Espicially right after you say:
One person replied saying that he would be redesigned like everyone else. Not exactly jumping on you.
You want your opinion to be respected, then show some respect yourself.

Eyedol wasnât a âwell designed character,â but he was unique, and different than anything else out there at the time.
I want Eyedol back because he was a part of the OG cast. Eyedol was the first boss of the series, and in the lore his death directly lead to the rise of Gargos. Gargos and Eyedolâs rivalry was the backbone of the series lore, so he MUST come back for the new KI to be complete.

So why does no one refer to Eyedol as âthemâ? Itâs two heads, two consciousness, two beings. You donât refer to conjoined twins as a singular being.

Ya know, that is a good question. Iâve never thought of him as 2 separate personalities, or even just 2 fused beings. I think it would be pretty awesome if Eyedol spoke in unison with two distinct voices, if he referred to himself as âweâ or something like that, I think that would be pretty awesome.

I always get attacked when saying I donât want Eyedol back, itâs been that way since I stated posting here when it was the double helix forum. Itâs never one person. My opinion is heâs a horrible design and I donât want IG to spend any time on himâŠre-imagined or not.
And yes I find the hive mind here rampant, dissenting opinions get attacked and the attacking posts get liked. But Iâll keep posting cause itâs a direct path to the developers to express my like and concerns about the game.
This is a âspoilerâ from KI1 ending but if you donât mind the spoiler, there is a direct quote from Eyedol that asnwers your question.
This happens when you finish KI1 playing as Eyedol.
Woman: âBilly⊠Are you my long lost son BillyâŠ?â
Eyedol: âWhy would I be your son?.. My nameâs Eyedol.â
Woman: âMy son was lost in a car crash⊠I gave him those bracelets for his birthdayâŠâ
Eyedol: (Eyedolâs heads give each other a confused look) âSomehow⊠we donât think so.â (Eyedol then smashes the woman with his club).
Itâs a little ambiguous because he refers to himself as âIâ, and âWeâ so I guess we can consider both.

Opinions are opinions. But I think the reason people get up in arms about some one saying, âheâs a horrible design and I donât want IG to spend any time on himâŠre-imagined or notâ is because that statement can be perceived as somewhat of an attack on the OG games.
I realize that you may not mean it that way, but this new KI in many respects has and NEEDS to acknowledge the OG games to be, well, a true part of the KI series. If the reboot of KI released and Jago and Sabrewulf werenât present, I can tell you that many people just wouldnât have accepted the game. The fact that so much of the OG games was faithfully recreated, only fans the flames of people wanting all the characters back.

I respect the OG KIâs as much as anyone, it was hard for me to accept some of the radical character redesigns at first but I grew to like many of them. Iâm constantly pushing for more faithful retro outfits, and I agree that KI1 and 2 should be faithfully represented as much as possible âŠI just donât want Eyedol cause heâs a stain on the series IMO.
That said I wonât be âmadâ if they bring him back, especially if the design delivers. I just donât think he should be a priority in the games current condition.
