Not directly. I think it’s empathy having had ARIA try to capture him and steal his technology - although I may be confusing plots from different versions of the Glacius story. Or maybe he just did it in passing while trying to thwart ARIA.
That’s just the way the trailer makes it look. Every trailer ever released looks like that. Go back and look at Eyedols, Kilgore, Shinsako, ect…

Can you dig it? Sucka! I wish those words were in the trailer.
Pretty much, Glacius is trying to get his tech back and probably found Eagle imprisoned and doing the honorable thing he rescued him.
Glacius is an alien. How do we know this is considered honorable to his species. Maybe he thought it more vicious to free him from his captors. Or maybe he thought that you don’t leave a POW, combatants must return a victor or die in battle.

[/quote]Glacius’ character is honor-bound, that’s who he is. He’s described as such in his character bio “The honor bound alien fights to protect Earth by recovering his stolen technology.” Its been well established that his motives revolve around honor, he’s trying to retrieve his tech not just so he can escape but so he doesn’t influence the course of human evolution with advanced technology.
I’m certain he wanted to rescue Eagle because of his feelings of duty and honor as well as having a potential ally against Ultratech. Though I do find it odd that Eagle is using Glacius’ tech (you can tell by the circuit board pattern on Eagle’s costume) when the entire point of his mission is to keep his technology out of Human hands…
My point is how do we know what he define as honorable?
Well he’s an intergalactic cop from a council in space that’s deemed humanity too primitive and violent to even have their technology. My guess is their sense of honor and justice is a hell of a lot greater than ours.
So they deemed humanity too primitive and violent, but their top teir cop is kicking A and taking names?
We know because the writers tell us. Relax, it’s only a game.
Sometimes a cop has to do what a cop has to do.(Glacius puts on shades and flys off to space)

All of the Remix chars and Eagle especially came right from the votes and comments in the Community Survey. Our combat team really wanted to do an archer character. (I think maybe it was even in the survey as a “Magic Archer” at one point.) We shelved that idea when others got more traction, and then when we visited Nez Perce, we found that the bow and arrow is very much a part of their culture, so it sorta came back alive. Sometimes it’s funny how things like that work out.
The votes AND comments? That’s kinda cool.
So in one kind of way, seems like a lot of groups of people got most of what they wanted out of Eagle.
Well Glacius is again, after all, an intergalactic marshal according to his (now) official new bio info in the official KI novella overall.
Just wondering if anyone has a transcript for this trailer handy as I can’t read the subtitles?
Great trailer, interesting looking character, looking forward to playing him.
Eagle and Thunder were instructed to always honor the old ways.
And When Eagle was a young man, he went to receive a guardian spirit.
Indeed, he wanted to help his people.
He tried to expose the corruption of Aria to the world but he was trapped in Aria’s dreamworld.
And his spirit was copied.
After years of imprisonment something came to set him free.
Eagle: I have returned, and now I will restore balance to the Earth!
That’s really awesome!
Is this the first time a retro and a modern costume were used in a trailer ![]()
