People can judge what they have seen so far. That’s only fair. As long they only judge on what we’ve seen and aren’t assuming anything about what we don’t know about.
And you should’ve learned by now that not everyone will dance on roses about every single thing the devs add to the game. Some people will dislike it and express their disappointment, and that’s okay. Trying to silence them just because you don’t like their complaints or disagree with them is unfair and not cool.
As much as I disagree with FGCSlamjam, I know what it feels like to be disappointed with a character (and more), so it’s alright for him to vent out his frustrations and disappointment. I was asking him those questions above to get a better understanding of what about it he didn’t like and why he was saying the things he said, instead of just bashing him into the ground and tell him to shut up. Because that’s just not alright…
I’m sure Eagle will be ok. It really does just come down to me expecting a character reveal like Mira or Sadira in S1. Brand new, never before seen, new addition to the lore and game.
It doesn’t hurt anyone either.
People are so easy to shut those down who says anything but praise.
It’s not fair to only accept those who get overly hyped and automatically thinks this will be the coolest character of all time, but as soon someone says something negative without “knowing all the details”, they get kicked to the curb.
We’re all in the same position here when it comes to what we know about Eagle so far. And NONE of us can make any judgement call about what he will be like.
That said, we should be free to express our concerns and compliments to what we’ve seen, as well as discuss and speculate on how he will turn out.
Totally agree! But I doubt the MS team disagrees…something just must not be ready. Maybe the trailer needs more tweaking. Max is done with it from what I can tell from his statement about it on his you tube page.
A full trailer and stating “EAGLE” would have been so much more hype and better fro the community.
@FGCSlamjam Do you know what eagles face looks like? Do you know what eagles animations are? Do you now his playstyle?
Disappointed? Sure. Clone character? You literally just pulled that out of thin air I’m lost and i can’t find your reasoning for why this character is a clone. Like. A clone means a copy, who is he a copy of? Please. I want to understand how you concluded this…maybe i don’t know a clone when i see one.
From the way you’re posting, your mind looks to be anything but “clear”. Learn proper sentence structure and maybe formulate an actual argument instead of just spouting word salad.
This is your problem. You’re basing your entire argument on an assumption. A flawed one, at that, given we know his moveset will be, if not entirely, then almost entirely new. At worst, you can probably expect superficial similarities like Maya and Mira have. (st.HP, b.HP, etc.) But is Mira a remix of Maya? No, not really.
You still haven’t told us why you think he is a clone character. What makes you say that? What about him is “clone-like”? Do you know what a clone character is?
Really? The Maya remix/sister was your go-to unique character?
I get what you’re saying…you would rather have a completely unrelated monster-esque character that doesn’t borrow any assets or lore from other characters, and that’s fine. But keep in mind, Mira IS a remix character…more heavily changed from the source than other remixes, but she is a remix nonetheless.
Which is exactly why disappointment almost never makes sense. In situations like these, discussion doesn’t just narrow down to what’s positive and what’s negative. Raw speculation about his playstyle/costumes/etc. is completely neutral discussion. Someone saying he’s going to be the best character ever because (assumption) is just as stupid as someone saying he’s a remix/clone/failure because (assumption).
