Thatās kinda adorable lol
The chibi lobbies were expected, but yeah, they actually are pretty functional and fairly adorable :-p
Bigger thing here is that I think the different zones might give us a solid look at a few more potential stages. Most of the Earth-based levels seem to be there (World Tournament stage, Cell Games ring, an urban area that could be West City), but weāve also got a few different zones thrown in. King Kaiās tiny planet, what looks to be the tower from the Red Ribbon arc, the Turtle House, and one in front of what looked to be a spaceship (or capsule tech of some kind?).
We already know Namek and some space/moon battlefield is in there, along with noon (and I presume night) of the desert wasteland area. Curious what other levels the team might have in store. Hyperbolic time chamber (particularly for Practice mode) is an easy one, but Iāve also been expecting Kamiās Lookout and probably something from the Super side of things. What about you guys? What other stages are you expecting for DBFZ?
Not expecting this for release, but I hope they add the Tournament of Power Ring as a stage, with Zen-O and the Grand Priest in the background.
Others would be:
Supreme Kaiās Planet
Beerusās Planet
King Kaiās Planet
Snake Way
Future Ruined West City
Buuās House (Outside with it in the background)
Capsule Corp. (With Shenron in the background)
Adding Porunga to the Namek Stage
Having Porunga or Shenron in the background would be dope
And yeah, I think a Future Trunks half-demolished city would be a good addition, and decently likely as well.
And speaking of Porunga, am I the only one who thinks it super odd that no one in Trunksā future ever thought it might be worth making a trip out to New Namek to wish people back?
I figure he had to have the time at some point to do it, in between wiping out the androids/Cell and whenever Babidi showed up.
Huh I never thought of that lol
But even then they would be just be killed again because of the Goku Black arc.
Lol. Perhaps, but thatās really beside the point.
So I found out that my Duo of Krillin/Android 18 is apparently a really good duo because of the setups, pressure and feints that Krillin & 18 can do.
Like my team is that team that makes you feel stupid for pushing buttons
None shall be spared
Donāt forget to add a powerhouse to that team, because you will have nothing to do against my 16/Piccolo/Vegeta!
GLORY AWAITS!!!
My team will be Gohan Cell Piccolo
Trunks, 18, and Gohan will destroy you @TheNinjaOstrich. And probably Cell too, b/c heās looking like a dope point character as well.
But prepare yourself for the Level 5. If you homing dash at me I will Level 5 you. If you try to swap characters, I will Level 5 you. If you call an assist and Iām not in blockstun, I will Level 5 them. Everybody bout to be catching these Father-Son Kamehamehas
Pffffffffttttt! My Cell/16/Frieza will beat you.
Psh. Frieza should have stayed dead.
I liked him as a villain, but I hate it when shows just bring back villains. Let your Big Bad be the Big Bad, and once heās done let them die or move on. I think itās way more interesting for a plot to be able to generate new threats and opposition instead of just recycling the same guy over and over again.
Well to start, they donāt even know how to get there. Keep in mind the only reason they found New Namek is because of Gokuās Instant Transmission. Goku is dead so they couldnāt really do anything.
I wish Pikkon would come back. How is he not one of the strongest in U7?
Pikkon is filler sadly so he canāt make it
Bulma made a machine to travel through time. Iām dubious that she would just never ever be able to find a way to figure out where the Namekians ended up if she actually wanted to find them.
you know what they say you cant keep a good villain dead for good lol
tho i like cell alot more and he is my favorite villain of the series
The ā ā ā ā are ātheyā?
Cellās my favorite DBZ villain as well (itās not even close actually), but he also should stay dead. Not because he wasnāt awesome (he was), not because he couldnāt have semi-plausibly been made a legitimate threat again (he could), but simply because itās a lot more interesting to toss the heroes into new challenges, both narratively and in terms of their own growth.
Bringing a villain back just screams ācrap, Iām out of ideas for compelling villains!ā I donāt mind it in a cyclical medium like American comic books, but for properties that are more straightforward in their timeline I really hate the practice. Itās narratively lazy, and is usually paired with poor character development and plot retreads.
