I agree Mira feels incomplete without a home stage.
Obviously, I’d prefer a brand new one, but at this point, I’d be happy if Mira just got a recolored version of an existing stage. Same for the others. I think everyone just needs their own somehow, even if not ideal.
Surely it would be less expensive to modify an existing stage similar to how it’s cheaper to retool an existing character like they did with Shago. Is that a fair assesment?
I dunno man, to me it more seems that a handful of specific people on the forums are really jazzed about the idea of a community fund for new stages rather than general public sentiment.

If IG makes a survey about choosing between new stages and new characters(totally new ones, not “clones” like Shago), I would always choose characters.
Even if I have to choose between 5 stages(Mira, Eyedol, Raam, Rash and a bonus oneI) against 1 character
But that’s just me.
I agree this would be great, but I think the reason you wont hear much from Team MS is no matter what they say someone is going to be upset. If they do give Mira a stage then all the Mira haters/ Rash, Raam, Arbiter, Eyedol lover are going to raise hell because they were left out.
It a loose loose situation for MS.
But me personally I would love to see a Mira stage as it would be super epic, gothic, evil and dark!
No sorry, I should’ve been clearer. I didn’t mean general public as in all players or the whole FGC or even all KI players, I was referring to the “public” of this forum specifically. That was my mistake, so sorry about that! 
This has been brought up several times since the initial stage announcement and the general sentiment in those regards seems to be favorable. I’m sure it’s probably not a massive number, but when we’re talking about the preferences of most forums, you’re not usually dealing with a vast majority of your player base to begin with.
Maybe it’s dangerous then to extrapolate based on what some people on the forum are vocal about at a particular moment in time, as it’s obviously anecdotal at best. But I tend to think that if MS/IG threw the idea out there, that many fans beyond this forum would prefer having more content, specifically more stages, and would pay for something like that to help support tourney pots.
I could certainly be wrong, so I don’t mean to gamble with someone else’s money, but that’s just my theory anyways, and I think it’d be great if they at least floated the idea to gauge interest.
Yeah but… Who’s forcing you to make that decision? We’re talking about additional content for a community fund. Now if they said “we can give you Eagle, or we can give you Mira’s stage” then yeah, I’m going with Eagle, no question.

this needs to happen, in my opinion stages add a lot to the game, at the end of the day fighting games are pretty much just characters and stages, when each character has their own stage it adds so much to their personality and background and really fleshes them out. I hope IG does the right thing and releases these missing stages

How much it would cost to get a stage for each character and then do a tiered community fund. So we have goals to hit for each character to get a stage but worst case atleast 1-2 goals will be hit and 2 people
Get stages.
Tier 1 Mira
Tier 2 Eyedol
Tier 3 Rash
Tier 4 RAAM
This way, although I want a Rash stage more than anything since he was the first of S3 and the first guest, the OC and the Original characters have priority, as they should.
If they gave you Mira stage-wanters her stage but put it as an achievement for beating shadow lords godlike would you reconsider

Im surprised at the attention this thread is getting! Edited my post to ask a question I had in the back of my mind.
Would you be okay with buying Season 4 if you only got 4 characters but every “stage-less” character in the game including Season 4 characters were given a home and the money recieved from Season 4 and maybe some holiday accessory packs here and there went towards polishing the game as a whole? (i.e. Adding Ultimates, stages, stage ultras etc)
I’ve talked about this once or twice. I like this idea.
I think taking some time away from major gameplay updates to fix bugs and do some feature creeping would be awesome. With some new stages and customization options, it would make the forums a much quieter place. Add Ultimates and some KI2 music for practice and the game could be set for a while.
That could give the devs extra time to work on the next big character addition, and if the new cosmetic packs and stages are paid DLC it could help pay for it as well.
Man… KI is such a weird game. We’ve got multiple asking for more ways to spend money on it as opposed to wanting to pay less, most of the time. What a wondrous bit of serendipity.
I’d say yea, but then people would get upset their voted character from the survey didn’t get in. I know both a Wendigo and Joanna wouldn’t, and that’d dissapoint me, but not make me just not buy it. I honestly would like the 4 characters, finished stages, then extras.

I would really like the Mira stage and extra modes, clean up stuff, etc…
But not willing to give up four new characters if there is a new season, I wouldnt mind 6 new characters plus all the extra’s, throw in some killer instinct gold and you can keep the price point too as far as I’m concerned, regular new characters is the lifeblood of the game for me though, I really need a new one every now and then…
Possibly, but I’d honestly say out of all of them Mira is hurting the worst without a stage, and I think everyone knows it. Considering what I heard about what the concepts for it were, her music was designed around the same, which is a centuries old high society deco mixed with other styles throughout the ages up unto modern designs thrown in as well. Her music is the same with the Russian oprea/dubstep style, and it is so so out of place without the necessary visuals to help sell the style. Rash and Raam can get a pass because guests, and Eyedol…well it’s hard to say about him as he’s hardly been given a story let alone a reason for being involved other than being Kan-ra’s insubordinate Frankenstein’s monster.

not a Mira fan besides Mira already has a stage imo. I think the only one that feels out of place to me as far as stages go is Rash.
Personally I would prefer to see RAAM or Eyedol with a stage. Promotional for GoW and Eyedol for being a “boss.” Hopefully though with the strong census in support of a community fund the rest of the characters will be given homes.
All they have to do for raam is change the lighting in sadiras stage to a more brownish color and replace the giant spider with a corpser.
I have to disagree with you. Sabrewulf’s stage when paired with Mira has no relation besides the “mansion” aesthetic. Nowhere in Mira’s story does it mention anything about severed limbs, torture chairs, burning furnaces and a full moon. Mira’s stage would take on a far different design, bats flying everywhere, bloody walls, a coffin and any other vampire iconography you can think of.
Eyedol could also have a really cool stage but to me, Astral Plane already fits him perfectly. That’s his dimension, he is a Shadow Lord, just like Gargos, that was once his home. Astral Plane could be like the “boss stage” of some sort. And on the topic of Rash, his stage would be awesome! A Turbo Tunnel stage? Yes please! But I disagree with guest characters getting stages at all. As big of a Halo fan as I am, I really disagree with Arby getting a stage over Mira or Eyedol.
