Favorite: everyone else who’s not in the category below. Great designs from a combat design perspective. Visually, Hisako, Arbiter, riptor and Rash really stand out positively to me.

Favorite to use or just favorite in general? Not sure, so I’ll just go with general. I like Valky’s tier approach, so I’ll stick with that.

This is mostly in terms of gameplay (how much I like playing as/fighting against the character).
I have no clue why but I really don’t like both playing as and fighting against Maya.
Favorite Tier (A): Sadira, Orchid, Glacius, Aganos, Shin Hisako
Sadira is my main. I love Glacius and Aganos conceptually, with Glacius and Orchid my favorites of the iconics. Gameplay wise I like Shin Hisako miles better than her original.
Liked Tier (B): Kim Wu, Fulgore, Spinal, Sabrewulf, Riptor, ARIA, Maya, Mira
Gotta love some of the originals (Fulgore, Spinal, Sabrewulf and Riptor). Kim Wu is my second co-main, and I love Maya’s reboot. Mira is cool as a new character though I would’ve preferred her to be more unique as opposed to Maya’s twin. Still a great addition.
Decent Tier ©: TJ Combo, Kilgore, Kan-Ra, Hisako, Thunder, Jago
TJ is fun gameplay wise. Jago and Thunder are alright but not as exciting for me as some of the others. Kan-Ra is interesting as a new character. I want to like Hisako more but I hate her gameplay (but as a character, I do like her). Kilgore is alright, I like him as a spinoff character.
Meh Tier (D): Cinder, Tusk, Rash
Don’t care for Cinder’s gameplay at all. Tusk is just meh to me. Rash is a guest. I’m not one for guests. Though I can appreciate the Battletoads reference.
Dislike Tier (F): Gargos, Eyedol, Shadow Jago, Omen, Arbiter, General RAAM
Don’t like boss characters and really didn’t feel all that excited for either Gargos or Eyedol. Arbiter and RAAM are guests, and as I said before, I’m not a fan of guests. Shago = Evil Ryu (then again, I like Kilgore and Shinsako so…can’t say the same for Shago for some reason), Omen is just too trollish to really like.
