if the shadow character is just a skin I’d be fine with this and that’s only as an alternate color, because honestly, I’d much rather have a completely new and separate character.

Omen, after seeing/feeling the results of him possessing Jago, then plots to trick Ultratech to bring Eyedol, the eternal rival of Gargos, to this plain, and with him in a weakened state, takes control of Eyedol, initially to impress Gargos in time for his arrival, but drunk with his new found power, decides to challenge him instead

Am I the only one who got this crazy idea when I read this?
"Omen was formed from the very thoughts of his maker, for in the Astral Plane certain powerful creatures like Gargos—a member of a race of demigods called Ikkorans—can force reality to bend to their imaginings; and through sheer force of will create “living” beings.
Imagine this for a sec:
Whoever fights Gargos, ends up playing on his own level (i.e.: Gargos vs Thunder = Thunder stage) but the stage has a getting torn effect of an alternate dimension (a la Lord of the rings when you wear the ring).
the levels wouldn’t necessarily become all dark and gloomy, it’s nice to have light levels, they’d just be a little darker with the effect on.
Once you beat the game with that character you’ll have access to his “darker” stage as an option.
Gargos would have his own level, because Gargos will be a playable character (I hope).
sorry for going on a tangent from Omen’s story.
On point: IG is doing a crazy awesome job developing those characters back stories.

Ohhhhhhhh. I finally understand.
Omen isn’t satisfied with his boring blue smoke-and-electricity body either. When he first came out, a bunch of people were mad with his design and didn’t like how simple it was. Just like the KI community has made known many times, Omen himself feels like his body is frail and incomplete. He wants to be one with Jago so that he can become stronger and more whole.

Hopefully that means his default look will become his retro and he gets a new default look altogether.

What if… Omen needs a body powerful enough to defeat Gargos and so reach his definitve freedom. This body is nowhere to be found but at dephts of hell, there’s a creature strong enough to beat the Gargoses a**.

BRILLIANT !!! Eyedol must be the savior of the universe lol
not really savior but conquerer. He must rebel against his own creator to ensure his absolute freedom. Once the herald now slayer of gargos. He might push the most hated enemy of Gargos into a devastating battle for the domination of earth. Omen knows he has no chance to break the chains that hold him as a herald unless he can posses something really strong to have a chance against his master.
Kim Wu and the dragon spirit are there but lets see how things turn out. The kingdom of shadows has begun.

it would give a straight point for a possible new KI game. Seeing how kim are so unfocused on her mission to keep peace on earth, she has a potential failure at some point. She clearly acts like she has no idea of what shes dealing with. Even the holy dragon cannot help. Something even worse can be happening if she doesnt have what it takes to kill gargos once for all.
If she fails something like omen possessing eyedol can be an easy thing since eyedol is just a fierce beast with a weak mind.
Omen are feeling addicted by the possession of bodies. So he can use eyedol as his ultimate weapon against gargos. With gargos dead he’s free to possess whatever he wants. Just a theory though.
something has to go wrong with the omen thing and we already have a plot for KI4 lol

KI4 twisted plot:
Gargos are defeated by the hands of the evil being who should just herald his name through the world. The dragon spirit now judges mankind guilty for all the chaos and it no longer has place on earth. A new life cycle needs to be created. The dragon spirit shows some interest on Cinder to use him as the trigger of the holy reset of life and ordered that somehow cinder was cast on the sun to explode as a supernova. But something goes wrong again (on purpose) As Cinder approches the sun, a sweet voice calls on him, a godlike voice of a gentleman. Its Dharma (phoenix), God of the Sun. It uses the burning body of Ben Ferris to manifest on earth and cast the right judgement for the things that is happening.

Im also sacrificing Cinder for KI4 by saying he can herald the “Dharma” thing. So no Cinder for KI4?
Sorry this the only idea i have for a future KI game. Something big should rise to wipe omen from earth forever.

Man, this King is on Spinal’s Backstory, Kan-Ra’s Backstory and know in Aganos’s Backstory!
He seems to be a very important person in KI Universe
