Can't connect to multiplayer

Just got KI on steam, but everytime I try to connect to multiplayer I get the message:

Multiplayer Service Log In Error

Unable to log in to multiplayer service. Please try again.

Does anyone have any idea of what could be the problem?

Does anyone at least know who should I contact then? Its a bit frustrating because I’ve looked everywhere around the internet and I haven’t found any solution yet.

There are several bugs hurting the game right now. The devs are aware of the problem and they’ve been working on a patch to fix it. There’s a topic covering these issues. Take a look at it for more info.

fyi, exhibition matches on steam work fine for me.

I’m starting to think this error I’m having is not related to that, even after today’s patch I’m still having the same problem

Is Killer Instinct the only Steam multiplayer game with this issue?

Yes, I play Team Fortress 2 and Tekken 7 online without any issue

I’ve just installed the patch and the game is running just fine. No more bugs. Multiplayer is working as it should.

I know… most people are saying they can play the game normally now, but I’m still having the same issue. I suspect it should be something on my end but I have no idea what I should do to make it work.
