Well gargos is going to be defeated for sure. That’s a given. As for eyedol. Might as well just be fodder at this point.
Gargos is the main antagonist. IG has made that prrrreeeeettttyyyy clear.
Your opinion and what was stated are two different things. This is a reboot, one that takes story elements from each game on a per character basis, otherwise Cinder and Riptor would be dead, the KI2 trio wouldn’t be here and neither would Gargos.

It was never said cinder actually died. Only hinted. “A great fire demon was defeated.” Or something close to that. But it was never implied cinder actually died. As for riptor, same thing as fulgore. Can just be rebuilt. As shown in every KI where a new fulgore takes over the old ones place.
Let’s just agree to disagree if he comes back or not he will like all the villains be defeated by protagonisim.
Yeah…sure…what has eyedol done exactly? Other then be a punching bag for orchid? Gargos tricked jago, made behind the scenes plans when omen was busy doing his work. Now he’s back. And where’s eyedol…lost to history.
Yeah but that’s a given. Though the question now is whose the protagonists?
Again why hasn’t IG even remotely hinted at eyedol’s return? They did for gargos. They hinted at ARIA’s appearance through both seasons. But again eyedol is left in the dust. Why a boss character like eyedol is left with nothing to tease his return?
Why? If he was that important he would have come back during S2 at the earliest. He also should have taken a spot over one of the guest characters…but no. He’s again nowhere to be found. You don’t just drop a big baddie without any form of introduction. It doesn’t work like that.
Pretty much all the good guys of KI jago, orchid, maya, Kim wu, etc. also while I do prefer gargos over eyedol in almost every way it would be cool if he came back.
They would have hinted at him in some way anyway by now if he was that important. Someone from the KI universe would have said something or the dev team. But theres nothing. Not a ■■■■■■■■■■■.thing.
But you also did say that the lore from previous games does not matter since this a reboot. Anyway I’m sure that IG could figure something out for him.
Ben Ferris/Cinder was slain by glacius, it said so in KI2. Seriously did you even pay attention to the original story? this is a reboot.
Eyedol wasn’t hinted at because there’s nothing to draw from other than him being Gargos’ rival and UltraTech’s ace in the hole. He doesn’t necessarily need to be a big bad in this reboot, just an enemy of an enemy, give him a fresh new story.

No…it says “slaying a fire being”. Which does imply cinder died…but never fully proven.

yeah… because there was totally a different fire being that Ultratech bargained Glacius’ freedom in a battle to the death with.
