I know im about to get verbally crucified for this one.
I would love a redesigned eyedol, i still want him to be a demon with 2 heads but i would have him use 2 long chains that are shackled on his wrist as a weapon instead of the club. Story wise he would not be a shadow lord at all, he would be released by Gargos as a final attempt to conquer earths heroes.
Thousands of years ago there was a entity that spread terror across the astral plains known as Eyedol, in search of a spirit known as the Seer. The Spirit was rumored to have the ability to create windows to parallel universes. Eyedol wanted this power for himself but when he found the spirit he was blind sided by 5 powerful entities. A long battle was fought but Eyedol was eventually wounded but before he was truly defeated he used the last of his dark energies to absorb the Seer spirit.
Eyedol was slain but the spirit of the Seer that resides in Eyedol would simply reincarnate Eyedol in a different universe. Eyedol would eventually find his way back to the Astral plains to seek vengeance on those who were responsible for his death but was unsuccessful. After being slain again he returned a 3rd time, making his way to the Astral plain to wage war once again. On this attempt he was not killed but the 5 Astral entities responsible for his death instead trapped him with the darkest of magicks in a endless cave of darkness with only the sound of the shackled chains that binded him to the infinte cave. On this day the 5 warriors of the Astral plain that stopped the demon Eyedol formed the circle of the shadow lords and united the Astral plains under there rule.
My vision of Eyedol and a little back story for that ā ā ā too.
Thatās pretty well written! i personally would prefer him to be Gargosā equal.
Having said that, if heās even in the game at all, Iād be happy with any story, and yours is probably as well written a story as I would have hoped for! Good job!

Heāll defintely be in the game . Now whether or not heās the final season 3 character, or a character to come later on in the game for free or as a community fund or something like that , who knows.

We need to push for another community fund. That way we can get Eyedol if he isnāt in, or another original character if he is.

Eyedol will come eventually, I know it. I donāt care either way, I just wanna call the fact that if he does come out, on his reveal stream Keits WILL say āare you happy now?ā. I will bet all of $5 on that.

Itās funny how people think Eyedol is ugly. Thatās part of his character. Heās a monster, so heās supposed to be ugly.
From my point of view, most of the monster type characters in this game are ugly! This is why I like them!

I personally think Eyedol is so much cooler than Gargos.. I always wondered how Gargos became the more popular of the two throuought the years. Eyedol is intimidating and beastly. Gargos was more cartoonish, and obviously has a lot less going on design-wise.

Plus his moveset wasnāt really all that inspired. A Saberwulf-like jumpslash, flame breath, and an uppercut. Oh, and he could flyā¦but in a game where every character is a rushdown type a slow fly ability isnāt very handy. The only really interesting about him was you had to end a combo to kill himā¦other than that there wasnāt muchā¦not that Eyedolās moves were any more interesting, but at least his design was much more creative and uniqueā¦I can honestly say I have never seen a 2-headed satyr cyclops inā¦well any form of fiction to be honest.

That is so true. Gargos was so bland compared to Eyedol in my opinion, yet Gargos is in the game!
I seriously think the two heads thing has something to do with making the character models harder to pull offā¦

Probably especially if both heads will have different expressions, animations VO and etc.
Wow didnāt think this thread would be so popular. I donāt mind either way if heās in it or not.
It always amuses me when people against Eyedol make it sound like nobody wants him when the user activity surrounding him always says otherwise. Every Eyedol thread that has been allowed to stick around has gotten large numbers of posts and likes, I wish I could retrieve my old Eyedol community suggestions thread from the old forum it had a TON of posts and some gems for suggestions.
