Yeah, I feel it is unusual that they would add EVERY OTHER character except Eyedol. Why single out Eyedol to be the only character to be left out?
It’s not like there is another similar character in the game;
It’s not like his design is worse than other characters;
It’s not like he couldn’t be rehashed to be a balanced/fair character;
It’s not like he doesn’t have any fans/followers;
It’s not like he can’t be weaved into the story like everyone else;
and I can’t imagine that it would be that hard to program a character with two heads (understandably, I am not a computer programmer).
Could it be that the only reason is personal distaste for the Eyedol from the developers? If so, could the fan base be strong enough to sway the developers’ decision regarding whether he is to be included?

I didn’t say story wasn’t important I’m saying that the core game isn’t driven by narrative.
Guests don’t effect the core story but adds to the gameplay. (they’re playable in Shadow Lords fyi)
unlike a novel which is in fact pure narrative, games are not PURELY narrative driven.
Also you should stop wagging you finger around and realize that rather or not Eyedol comes back… It has nothing to do with guests and everything to do with rather the development team want him back or not.
i would like to disagree with this. the only reason there are so much posts about requesting eyedol return is because all the other charecters are already here. its only eyedol or new charecters or guest charecter… i havent seen this much outcry to have eyedol in the game and i was here since season 1 in the forums…

Ha ha - well, technically, the statement is correct at this current point in time. There IS no other character that the KI community is familiar with and can request, given all other characters have been accounted for. Therefore Eyedol is the most requested character in the KI community!
That’s probably because nobody knew what to expect up until close to the end of season 2. At that point they had all the original cast save 4, and Gargos was heavily hinted at. Heck, at the end of season 1 we didn’t have any KI2 characters. And now Eyedol is the only one left to bring back. So of course all focus is on him now.
You must have some kind of selective blindness then because people have been begging for him since the end of season one.

Maybe eyedol can be a bonus character with limited story like SHEGO nothing special. I just want another original character personally, maybe a community fund or something for eyedol Either way the game will never feel complete cause it is not even if eyedol is released.
I hope GR is the last guest character, thats my main concern.
Well the reason I want Eyedol is because his design, I was in love with it and of course, how he will play. And he would want to be in S3 with the Cinematic Story and all.. I know they have something planned for the Big ol’ monster.

I am highly skeptical - I do not believe we’re going to see Eyedol.
If he DOES end up in the game - I will eat my words, and play nothing but Eyedol for a week straight upon release.
I would put a good deal of cash on Eyedol not making it into the game unless there is a community fund.
I’d pitch in - not because of Eyedol, but because of tourney season

Well prepare thyself for a community fund for Eyedol.
I don’t want to community fund Eyedol, he’ll end up with no accessories, no retro, he’ll be half-hearted, Eyedol deserves to be a FULL character, not an afterthought.

I think he needs to be included in this game before its “finished”. Every other fan has gotten to see their favorite(s) from KI and KI2 return, Eyedol’s fans deserve the same.
We also don’t know when (or if) we will get another KI after this one, and since this KI has every other original KI/KI2 character, I think it would be good to have him in. This also could be the last time all of the original characters get the opportunity to be in the same game together. If there is a KI4, IG might want to bring in many new characters with only half the og characters to change things up, so let Eyedol get in this game to complete the “reunion”

I never understood why Shago never got accessories or a retro. But I do want to stay on topic.
Given one of the original Eyedol complaints is that he was a half-realized character I really think not putting full effort into a new version would further damage his reputation and “prove” all the haters right.
