On the topic at hand though, I don’t think people should get their hopes up of seeing original characters with the other 2 slots.
I’m betting that this trio is going to be nothing but remixes, we’ll probably see Shadow Orchid unfortunately and one of the other suggested rehashes they polled us about. Hopefully the shark man, as long as he gets a completely new character model, not just TJ’s legs with a shark head glued on.
I’m hoping we don’t get the shark. A rushdown Galcius and Shadow Orchid are best (even though I don’t care for them). Hopefully, Killgore can cover our gunslinger trope so human Cinder and Joanna Dark won’t need to come in. I would rather wait on a shark and tree that aren’t “remixes” since they’ve got a lot of potential.
I’ve never really been 100% on board with the new Glacius, his design was a little weird but I got used to it and his playstyle was NOTHING like either Glacius we had before. However since Glacius has been my main since the original, I adapted and learned to zone.
If we got a rushdown Glacius character, one that plays more like the original KI1 Glacius, I’d be in heaven. Make him the same race, just shorten the model and give him different features to make him unique and totally invert his playstyle just like they did with Kilgore, from ranged to brawler.
And I feel the same about Human Cinder & Joanna, they’re better suited as costumes, not characters.
Since Glacius rescued Eagle’s “dead” body, do you think the rushdown Glacius could be him? That’s what I’ve been hoping for, and it seems like a good way to integrate him into the plot.
Except that it might go against Glacius’s 88 decrees (or whatever number it is). That’s why he was going after Cinder after all, Ultratech manipulating the natural flow of life & whatnot.
You have to get 100% for the platinum right? Kind of annoying if they keep adding stuff (which will add extra dossiers), that way the rewards get pushed a bit farther away with every update
Currently at 56%, most of the ones I still have to get are character related.
