It’s been a while since we’ve seen KALYPSO on here facing me. We switch to some alternate characters for some sparring lessons in this FT10. Check out his “Into The Web” Series on his YouTube channel (links below)!
Last night during stream time, we had a little trouble maker in chat. A tryhard who made an account that same day, just to curse at people, say bad things, and do all of that nonsense. So, I banned him. What you guys see next is what happens when you try to slide in my DMs and troll me afterwards. You don’t want to troll the master of trolls. Due to popular request, here’s the entire scenario. Enjoy.
Wait a minute, this is a Rough Set…local battle? Who is this imposter? Check out this rare offline occasion with this intruder who’s been terrorizing everyone lately.
The Part III in this video is very misleading, since Devil and I used to train on a regular basis, for years now. Check us out in a little team sparring.
Season 3 Rough Sets with UA|DevilMayCare (TJ Combo) (Part III)
I’ve always enjoyed watching/playing the Jago mirror. I think it’s one of the most interesting mirror matches in any of the FG’s I’ve watched or played
Would you like to see a really obscure matchup? Has this matchup ever been seen/played before? Who plays these two characters nowadays? Anyway, check out Halo’s Arbiter vs. Mira in this FT10.
Season 3 Rough Sets with Delta Rayquaza (Arbiter) (Mira Edition)
Mentality eSports’ Letalis has always been a regular on Group Sets. We welcome him back as we have a little exhibition between his General RAAM and my Cinder. Enjoy.
Season 3 Rough Sets with MnT|Letalis (General RAAM) (Cinder Edition)
Been a while, right? How about a new twist: Gauntlet Editions! This is a training method I used for myself alongside training other players. My opponent would take on my Spinal, Cinder, Mira, Jago, and Shadow Jago during a set, all in one go! Let me know in the comment section on what you guys think of this training method!
*Note
Now, I need your help to decide on how to make these work! Normally, I’d do a FT5 with all of my characters, but that would be too long to watch. So how about we let the audience decide. Should Gauntlet Editions be:
I have to win 2 games in order for my opponent to “unlock” the next character in rotation (Example: Spinal wins 2 matches, switch to Mira, win 2, switch to Cinder, repeat).
or
FT3 using all of my characters. No mercy. Evil Bass, right?
Season 3 Rough Sets with Raven is Raw (Sabrewulf) (Gauntlet Edition)
@UABass My vote would go for the ‘two-wins-n-tag-em-in’ approach. Kinda like the idea of adapt quick and recognize the gameplan even faster. A series of FT3’s feels too…tournament-y, i guess? My two cents.
Bass, another idea if you’re looking to spice something up is to do the “win 2, move on to next character” idea, but do random select for each character. You could either use a website to pick 5 unique characters beforehand, or just do random select each time you need to switch (this one runs the risk of getting a duplicate though, so the website is probably best).
This would be fun to watch against players who aren’t top level, I think. If you are playing another fellow top player, make them do the same thing!
