Okay maybe I should invest a couple of hours labbing all her escape options with mist vs my char.
But I still think she is going to dominate the rest of the cast in the future.
I also think that yes, mist form hits like a DP but she can heal that damage easily so it is not REAL damage if you play smart.
I pretty much agree with the tier list. It makes sense given what every tier letter means and no character should be below A.
On the other hand, ignoring the letters and just looking at the list I kinda disagree with Kan-Ra being that low in that list.
Kan-Ra is a monster and I donāt know any player that comes even close playing him to his full potential. Not even Fubuki.
With all the recently discovered tech (shout outs to the Kan-Ra facebook group) including plus on block overhead setups, block strings that just donāt end, safe clutch setups, unbreakable high damage combos, and shadow spike/swarm walls that put Aganosās walls to shame I think he should be at least in the middle of the cast.
If I had to give him one buff, than it would be for him to start the match with a trap on the field.
Unless your character is raam chances are they have a common punish for mist form.
Mira is extremely powerful. But the thing that keeps her from being overpowering is the risk reward factor. She can regain health but if she misses a command throw its gonna hurt even worse. She also has a bit of a learning curve and if you donāt have a good neutral game youāll kill yourself with Mira.
In regards to kan ra hes the hardest character in the game to use. And while he does have excellent set play his bad mus are just so extremely crippling that it keeps him out of the higher tiers. Many of the games more powerful characters are hard counters for him and he pretty much has to play perfect to beat them.
I think he can pretty much fight any character minus Mira. Mira just seems to be designed to counter Kan-Ra.
Not saying he wins vs everybody else but he has the tools to fight everybody else.
Fulgore got nerfed to a doable level for Ra and I think he wins vs Jago now. Thunder is still a problem as well as Rash but at least they have to deal with Raās vortex and shadow trap.
Fulgore is still pretty bad for him. His nerfs didnāt really change what made the fight bad for kan ra. Rash will always be a natural counter and he just got even stronger pressure tools. Aganos still beats him. He still has it tough with cinder, Gargos, Kim, Maya and a few others. They may not be 7-3 fights but theyāre still uphill fights for him. He doesnāt have that many mus he shines heavily in either. And even the ones he does such as raam if he messes up heās pretty screwed.
So, after has murdered my first woman with nerfs till death, and now
HAters WANNA WARS Again!!!
God bless them please, wash these souls. take them to the daylight.
OMEN!!! oups AMEN !! ahhaha
Iāve been asking for this in regards to aria since s2. Besidesā¦you telling someone to adapt is the pot calling the kettle black if I ever heard it. Keep in mind Iām not asking for it to be punishable. Just not abusable. I think the move should remain a strong air to air but theres more than one character that she can use it on over and over again and they canāt do a thing.
lol bro you should know know me better I like to bring the fire on this forum, since I know peoples donāt like so I play with it .
I need this forum to be so much active like in S2 when peoples talks from all and nothing. @MnTLetalis because of you im in love with omen now, since that last match I lost 2-1 with sadira vs your omen, you opened my eyes on how good omen could be when used correctely, and now I admit it, you was right , omen is better zonner than glacius.
thank you to let me discover my 4rd place man in my team.
I really enjoyed this fight and the way you used omen.
In that particular fight yes Omen is a better zoner since many of his fireballs control airspace very well. There are other fights where glacius will be the better zoner such as riptor. But the nature of omen as a character is hes extremely versatile. So if you are planning on using him just know when to zone when to rush down or when to mix up both. Or even play footsies if need be.
I donāt think hes the best, imo the best ender in wall splat is the tj shadow powerline, try it on a corner then tell me what.
Yeah for sure im planning to add him in my team, ive already buyed the omen colors pack since I like all three colors yeah they are the colors from my country Thank you Ig . and ive also spend 1250 ki gold for his shadow skin, just godlike!
I dont like this statementā¦he does not share buttons with Jago and Wulf. They are not identical so that cant be shared. Similarā¦ maybeā¦ but not similar enough to call it shared.
Beat me in a single set with your Aria and we can talk about me whining @G0tei13Izaragi. Iām not nor have I ever advocated for nerfs for Aria or Sadira, and in general Iāve been against many of the latterās changes. But if you were going to touch Aria, an unpunishable and mostly unchallengeable air button and a medium AD that hits like a light are pretty much where youād want to look.
@lHagenl I can actually believe you with respect to Kanās placing. Kan-Ra reminds me right now of where Hisako was in S2 and early S3, where a bunch of the top players liked to write her off as a bottom 5 character without ever really delving into her strengths. She couldnāt be played the way they wanted to play her in a couple MUās, and because of that they automatically labeled those fights losses and said the character wasnāt really strong. It honestly used to frustrate me, because I could see how strong the character was, but since I wasnāt a tourney player people mostly ignored my thoughts on the matter. But having to play a character the way theyāre meant to be played (as opposed to the way you want them to be played) doesnāt make the character weak or unviable (see: Mira). If you think Kan has enough options/tech to make his fights even or in favor, then I wouldnāt be surprised to find a specialist at some point who really showcases that and has people clamoring about how crazy Kan is.
Long story short - keep at it, and hopefully you and some other good players can eventually make people see how good the character is
Yeah Fubuki has wrecked me a few times in ranked. Ive beat him beforeā¦ but that just made him madā¦ over all he super slippery and hard to get in on.
Wait which characters canāt deal with j.mk from Aria? I play the two least mobile characters in the game with Raam and Shisako and they can deal with it relatively ok so I would assume the rest of the cast could handle it even better?
Oh yeah, Fubuki is very good to be sure. But as I understand it, even he isnāt using a goodly bit of the dirt and tech that people have found for Kan-Ra. Once he or someone else adds that to the stuff Kan already has, I wouldnāt be surprised at all to see people flat-out changing a lot of their thoughts on the character.
KI on the whole is a game that has a lot of tech that has yet to be discovered or, if discovered, has yet to be put into practice at a high level. People say Iām the best Hisako, but there is an absolute ton of stuff she has that Iāve just never labbed out appropriately or have yet to incorporate into my game. And Sako is a pretty well used and popular character - just think of all the crap left to find on a super complex character like Kan-Ra that only has a few dedicated specialists!
Well, both of those characters are generally quite adept at swatting things out of the sky - Raamās down+HP is amazing and Shinsakoās got an actual dp that covers a solid bit of vertical space. Iād also quibble about calling Shin immobileā¦she doesnāt cover large amounts of forward space super well, but sheās got great walk speed, a silly back dash, and a few ways to cross the screen instantly with a bit of resources or prep.
As far as characters that donāt do great against jumping Aria, I donāt think Hisako handles it particularly well to be honest. You can technically AA jump+MK, but in practice Ariaās much more likely to just whiff it safely and then land as free as a bird since it has basically no landing recovery. Air-to-airing her with jump+HP is more viable, but if you donāt space it at max range or if Aria decides at any point to use her own jump+HK youāre probably going to lose the interaction. I donāt think Aria necessarily gets a ton off the strategy of just fishing with jump+MKās (because blocking is a thing), but at the same time thereās not all that much Hisako can do to shut it down. I imagine most characters with grounded AAās have similar issues with it.
