Was kinda hoping to fiddle around with Gargos for a bit before hitting work, but I’m starting to sense that won’t be happening ='(
It’s actually a welcome change for Shago. One of my biggest pet peeves was the fact that you couldn’t properly punish the Pizza Cutter… Any areal attack should be punishable. The range was also crazy. So in respect, all they are doing is just putting Pizza Cutter in line with all the other jumping attacks.
The same thing happened to Sadira at the beginning of S2, where the range of her jumping HK was nerfed slightly. In truth, it won’t hurt Shago at all, but keep him from being so cheap.

I’m just comparing counters, not wakeup options overall. Yes, Kim has the advantage in that respect.

FYI: The patch comes out at 10am PST. From the time of this posting, we have about 2.5 hrs until the patch STARTS ROLLING OUT. That means some regions won’t see the patch until later in the afternoon / evening.

I do admit I use to think everyone getting upset by nerfs that was until Fulgore kept getting nerfs and now I can understand why people get upset about it. However the good thing about this game; the nerfs don’t always really hurt that much if at all.
People said RIptor’s tail-flip is dead in season3, but I find it useful to catch people who try to hit me after a flipout. So much fun AND I do occasionally catch people trying to block. Lol
Personally I think the best way to fight Shago is patience. With his mobility and everything players will always try to attack and if you can deal with the mix-ups you can shut them down.
Admittedly I did get my rump kicked yesterday but then again I was also using Tusk that day to get the hang of him.
Ozzys are cool, so no worries. My producer friend is from Melburne.

Me before reading the patch notes and after a run of frustrating Rash battles that I lost: Hopefully they’ve nerfed rash so that he’s actually not broken, cheap trash that every noob and scrub in KI can get free wins with, regardless of their opponent’s skill @RGLOfficial agrees at least in part on this, I believe.
Me after reading the patch notes: Well, that was totally underwhelming in the rash department. Going to have to try hard to leave ranked alone unless I absolutely need to so that I don’t get demoted due to a character that I find difficult, if not impossible to defeat currently with any strategy regardless of what I try.
Other than that, interesting changes, let’s see how they pan out.
Glad to see Shago getting the long-awaited Pizza Cutter nerf that should hopefully at least ease the inability to punish it that I’d experienced before and probably other players have too.
Just my opinion of course.

Let’s not crucify anyone too hard for misunderstanding the time zone release schedule; even though it’s posted, I have seen users from multiple continents and time zones (including the US time zones) make the same mistake multiple times.
That is not a happy path to go down, friend. 
What, leaving ranked alone? It’s not an idea that I came up with on a whim, I can say that for certain. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to go through with it, but if Rash was actually punishable, I’d agree with you and carry on learning the match up. Regardless who I play though, Rash is like the new Kan-Ra. At least Ra can be beaten if you’re lucky. Rash? In my experience, no chance (or very little at least), not without sight (and even with in some cases) but that’s a different topic.
