Xbox Elite Series 2 just stopped working on KI W10 PC... Please help

Heyo everyone. Last time i played KI was Thursday the 19th. Played lots of matches & sets with people while streaming. Had a busy weekend so wasnt really on again until Sunday night, Went to go boot up like i normally do & now it doesnt even act like a have a controller plugged in. I have waited on the start screen for even over a hour hoping it was just a sync issue or something.

It hasnt. My controller works on literally anything else i have downloaded through other platforms like steam, epic, etc etc & all my emu’s too, I have even changed pads & still nothing. I even deleted KI & installed it back hopeing that would work but it did & Nothing i have looked up works. Yes i have double checked steam input. Never had it on. All drivers etc updated & no changes with my PC system or anything else besides a graphic driver i installed today hoping it would be a fix. Im at my witts end with it. I dont understand whats happening or Why. I do own the steam version of KI too which imma download tonight & test to see if theres any issues with it.

If anyone has encountered this before & know how to fix. Please let me know. If not looks like ill be moving to steam side if theres no issues there with it too.

@KRAKENJIMMY James have you ever had this happen or know what to do or should i just say oh well & move to steam if theres no issues.

Edit* Downloaded Steam Version & Worked instantly…. >.<
Looks like ill just play from that side now.

Dropping a note here to acknowledge that I saw this and we chatted about this (offline).
I cannot repro this but I do not have any windows 10 devices left.

Looking into it more now I am back from vacation.

I was told by Veneno yesterday that AbsoluteZero & others were having a similar issue with xbox elite controllers on W10/11 KI because of a MS update that happened. Dunno why W10 got affected because no updates but something happened that went all screwey.

Im perfectly fine moving to steam. Try not to stress yourself out about this James.

No stress :slight_smile: just want to follow up and look into it since there have been no KI client changes.
