Would you pay for stages for the rest of the S3 cast if offered as DLC?

Yes but im not sure how that would work. For example, if I buy the new DLC stage and then go into online, and I get to pick stage, do I get to pick the new one even if the other guy hasn’t purchased it? If so, why would anyone buy it when they can play on it for free if other people have it? Or if not, why would I buy a stage I might not be able to use sometimes just because the other guy didn’t buy it?

@R1stormrider: You think this is it? Like this KI is the series’s farewell to fans? I hope it’s not  Just curious, what makes you think that?

I

Honestly, I want to say “no.” I don’t really think it makes sense to be paying into a fund for stages 21-25 or whatever. But since I dropped a lot of money on the Shago community fund even though I already had him and don’t go to tournaments, I would probably chip in something just to support the game.

I try to be a positive person and I’m really grateful that they have made such a great game. But there’s only so much I can give before I start to feel taken advantage of. Frankly, instead of a community fund I would rather just be sold DLC.

Not sure how that works. Mortal Kombat x is adding the pit as an extra stage via dlc. Not sure how they’re gonna make that happen online. Plus if you remember in season 1 you had to unlock levels.

Actually I don’t think it’s a bad idea, if they sell the stage(s) in the same way they sold Shago to fund the community.

If IG put out 1 or 2 DLC stages with most of the profit being used to raise prize pots at tournaments, sure I’d happily buy them.

If they made stages just to make a few extra dollars off of people who already bought the full season, then I’d begrudgingly buy them… LOL

I’d rather pay for a costume set and allow them to work on stages for season 4

I’m hoping instead of a season 4 we get true Killer Instinct sequel. Something Iron Galaxy can build from the ground up. Everything IG has done only made the game better IMO, but they still are more or less patching and adding content to the frame work Double Helix laid out for them.

I’d like to see what IG can accomplish with a game they’re able to build from ground up.

I don’t think it’s about whether you go to tournaments yourself. I certainly don’t. $20 for the quality of matches we got to see at events like Evo and KI World Cup seems like a bargain to me.

But yeah, I think it’s been established that a community fund for stages would be impractical.

Well, we’re basically spouting vaguely-recalled hearsay until one of us bothers to dig up the relevant interview.

Most of the cast is probably guest characters so absolutely not lol

agreed, each character deserves his or her own stage, to me this is highly unacceptable but if we must pay extra then so be it!
