I mean he was funded in May… They’re intentionally holding him back methinks. But we need SOMETHING to do in the game. Hopefully he’s out in December.

If they’re “holding him back” (which I don’t feel like they are) and they promised he would be released before the end of 2015 (which they did) then we have nothing to worry about. Be patient, he has a month and a half left to release.

There have been sideline statements by IG that he is on track for 2015.

I’m thinking they may be making him Shadow Lab ready as well. Shadow Jago is the 8th slot, which would put the story release on November 30. Next week is the 2nd anniversary of the game…

When IG/MS announce a timeframe like month or year expect it to be the very last minute or day in this case they said 2015 so expect it to be out december 31 11:59pm

This is the kind of statement that I just don’t understand. I don’t know what “intentionally holding him back” would even mean. Do you think they just make stuff and drop it on the community the second it’s finished like a dim sum restaurant? They have a big project to manage, and they don’t just throw out hot updates every afternoon. I’m sure they have a plan for when they are going to release him, along with whatever scheduled update lines up with his release. I’m equally certain that they will be actively working their asses of doing SOMETHING related to his development right up until that deadline, even if it’s just playtesting and tweaking.
There’s a lot of discussion of Shadow Jago and his release all over these boards if you would bother to look. You would find lots of interesting nuggets of information, including a post from @TempusChaoti indicating that work on Shago didn’t start until after Rash because of the pipeline of work and the schedule. It has always been the position of the development team - since Jago was funded in May - that he would release “before the end of 2015.” We are still very much within that launch window.

That’s not a rule, that’s a one time occurrence. There have been quite a few characters who came out before the final day of the month.

Yes, but when that happens every one can be happy that the character released “early.” Get it? The point of the rule is, when they give us a fuzzy date, just assume it’s the latest possible timing. Then you don’t have to sit around biting your knuckles and wondering when he is coming.

There’s a good side to that thought process and a bad side. Good side is what you’re saying. Bad side is what TC is saying.
If they are holding back,they probably have a reason. You may be bored now,but what about the wait to season 3. The release of Shago will mark the beginning of the content drought till Season 3. They are waiting so they drought can happen later and the drought will be slightly shorter.

This year is honestly going by FAST for me personally. Even with 11th grade going on, I’m already almost 1/3 through it. Could be me getting obsessed with Fire Emblem or lack of excitement for upcoming games or something, but personally the wait has stopped being dreadfully slow.
My life is ruining my KI schedule. I didn’t even play KI for 2 weeks till last weekend. School takes too much time:(
Haven’t plyed KI in a week or two, been playing Smash and Splatoon with friends too much and playing Halo 5 or FE every other moment.
I lol’d too hard XD
Personally I now think either in mid-November of this month or early next month in December for the official release of Shadow Jago
