Why people hate Eyedol again? -.-

Definitely. He would need much more, but I do think that shows that he can still be Eyedol without the furry animal legs lol

I would add some type of armor plating on him in certain areas just so he doesn’t look naked haha. Maybe something over his butt/pelvic area, possibly his shoulders too lol

Hmmm armor can work. and maybe something that gives a nod to DOOM

i would turn him into something draconic like King ghidorah from Godzilla. King has 3 heads instead of 2 but with 2 heads can be created easily with a beefy tail attacks. king ghidorah doesnt have arms but a couple can be created. the only problem is how a one eye dragon would look…if eyedol lost the cyclops look for his default and instead the one eye would be an accessory or a retro would pople be upset? would a one eye dragon look weird? or would it be weird enough to be KI brand of cool.

one head breathe fire and one head breathe lightning. or if the fire is too obvious maybe green fire or purple fire or ice, maybe darkness breath

That would actually be really cool because if he is still considered a Shadow Lord the green and purple flames would be so fitting.

I think the Ghidorah thing would be interesting, and think a one eyed dragon would be fine, I just don’t know how people would feel if he got turned into a dragon. I am cool as long as he retains the two heads since thats his most iconic feature IMO but idk how everyone else would

thats the million dollar question. how much features of eyedol are the eyedol fans willing to give up in order to have him in the game. there are some people who would riot if eyedol is changed even a small bit even though the retro exist to appeal to the fans of the prievious design

Eyedol HAS to be redesigned gameplay-wise. He can`t just charge and hit with club.

I personally am cool with him being heavily redesigned much how Gargos was. It seems every character has gotten a pretty significant change one way or another so I feel most people should be expecting that by now at this point. I think IG shouldn’t worry about that too much because based on what I have heard, there have been complaint threads for just about every single returning character reveal. No matter what, somebody will be upset and have something to complain about so they just need to do what they think is best in terms of his design and roll with it (assuming he is in the game of coarse lol)

Every character has been redesigned as far as their gameplay, none of the characters in-game function the way they did in the old games.

THIS.

Eyedol can be completely redesigned as long as his retro stays true

Hasn’t that happened with like every returning character though? I don’t think that is something that will be exclusive to Eyedol if he is revealed. I seem to remember the same thing happening with Kim, Tusk and Gargos too.

My fear is that it’ll be ten times worse.

That is very possible lol

I hope that isn’t the case because that will make a lot of us who have been practically begging for him look kind of dumb and will lead to these comments: " You all asked and begged for this dumb character all this time, and now that you get him you all cry and complain about him?" lol I don’t want to see this argument take place.

All s3 retros are at least great, if not perfect.

So If Eyedol it’s in, a good retro it’s a sure bet

Precisely that my friend

Well, Eyedol is out, and apparently, the devs have “trolled” us for a long time, since it appears that they knew exactly what they were doing with his design. It’s absolutely fantastic, IMO, and most of the community seems to agree.

He’s basically a troll, a zombie, and Frankenstein’s monster all rolled into 1.

The eyedol situation is a great example of social engineering. By repeatedly fabricating a lie (that is “nobody liked eyedol ever”) you get people to convince themselves that they really have disliked eyedol and that it was “I always said he shouldn’t come back”, so you get people convincing themselves and others that this was always like that.

And this is how politics work too.
