Are you referring to the bug where it shows you as “qualifier” instead of showing your true rank? Because that does happen quite a lot and isn’t in fact a real rank reset.
If you want your real rank to show up, just hop into the ranked menu screen or, sometimes the exhibition vs screen.

The game doesn’t synch your ranking until you do anything multiplayer related like exhibition, ranked, etc. Don’t worry it’s still there.
