I enjoy ALL of the KI characters’ Ultras/Ultra Combos for me here 
I’m partial to Wulf, Cinder, Riptor, Kan-Ra, Spinal, and Jago.
I’m less fond of Fulgore, Aganos, Orchid, and Hisako.
Indifferent to the others for the most part.
Favorite: Kan-Ra, love how he sandsplodes in the end
Least favorite: Hisako, I find her fighting style in general boring to watch, except possession

Most favourite thunders I like the beat it makes.
Least favourite is Maya’s it’s just unnessesarilly long and slow. Then. She can recapture and do it. . .
I agree Maya’s is one of my least favorites because it isn’t as entertaining to watch and honestly too slow. :T
Rash. I love canceling the punch into another punch as an ultra ender.

TJ has the best Ultra, period. I mean he straight up flurries you with an onslaught of jabs, hooks and overheads before making you his personal speedbag! I will admit I’m not a huge fan of the vortex uppercut ending but when you connect a HK and ultra ender, then you have the perfect Ultra.
Orchid has one of the weakest Ultra’s, it feels underwhelming and happens so fast that you can’t really appreciate what’s there.
Favorites: Season 1’s … unfavorites: Season 2’s. For some reason Season 2’s ultras are too long and they launch the opponent too high in the air after the ender. That’d be cool if the camera zoomed out like in the old games, but it doesn’t, so it’s harder to time those last catch attacks than on Season 1 ultras.

Maya’s would be my favorite with all the dagger throwing and stuff except that that part of the ultra also has the awkward silence between hits. The sound isn’t nearly as impressive as the visual there. Plus, hers feels way too long anyway.
The best ultras in the game are the ones based around rhythms (which is why I feel like almost all of season 2’s ultras are kind of lacking). Jago and Glacius make up my two favorites, with Sadira close behind.
